Digital copies of licenses and state-issued IDs, which can also be stored on Apple Watches, will only work at security checkpoints at a Phoenix airport for now, officials said.

I suppose it's ultimately up to the US how it wants to handle its online social security and tax systems; and I appreciate that establishing people are who they say they are online is tricky; but might I suggest that this isn't quite the ideal solution?
