I had Bad Birdie down as a brand for loud shirts and golfers a lot younger (and slimmer) than me.
Turns out I was wrong.
I spent a few weeks testing a full outfit on and off the course. Here’s how I got on 👇

Caddie should sneak an extra club in the bag and video her reaction when she gets the penalty.
Charley Hull bought a fake lottery ticket in Blackpool last night and tricked her caddie into thinking he'd won $100,000!
"He's taken his hat off. He's taken his glasses off. He's literally running around the players lounge sayin', 'I've won $100,000. I'm taking today off.' His face looks so happy. He was sweating. He was trembling. He couldn't believe his luck, and we had to tell him it was fake and he nearly quit the job."

The speed that Ryan Fox set up to (and then made) the two biggest putts of his life was incredible. Aspirational.
Review of the Cobra Optm Hybrid I did for Golf Monthly. Really liked this club. Wasn't the longest I've tested this year but performance was good, the adjustability options are off the charts and it looks great.

‘Zinger has had quite the week when it comes to awful takes. He’s becoming the Rio Ferdinand of golf.
Would Team USA have been better with more LIV guys? 🤔🇺🇸
Brooks Koepka? Patrick Reed? Dustin Johnson?
@PaulAzinger floated the idea to @thesleezyman on SubPar.

Love this. Makes me feel so much better after I hit the EXACT same drive yesterday off the 1st tee at the @golfmonthly winter testing day. I was in the opening group so the whole team was on the tee watching. Mortified.
(still made par though)

I had three final thoughts about the Ryder Cup, the final one being a summary of my feelings about U.S. "fans" who screamed vile shit at Rory and his wife: He clowned you. Welcome to the Hall of Fame of Losers. @fried_egg_golf thefriedegg.com/articles/202…
I wrote this on the Ryder Cup. It's long but it could easily have been much longer, as it's the Ryder Cup and there's always so much shit going on!

Fine. Then we hire Jurgen Klopp and you lose again.

Here is why looking outside of golf to a coach K or Lou holtz is worth exploring. Golf is an individual sport that doesn’t have team work, support system, partnership, team analytics, personality traits, and more. The Europeans have a template that teaches and prepares their captains for these skills. U.S. has a new template every 2 years with little continuity. If a coach K or Lou Holtz or someone similar took over, would it be built upon or would it be scrapped and start over again afterwards? If that’s the case, it would be a waste of time and effort and not worth doing to begin with.
If it was normal heckling then he’d have a point. How would ‘Zinger react if it was his missus being abused? I’m guessing he’s not turning the other cheek.
🗣️ "I love Rory, but you can’t say that. You can’t say the fans need to behave better and then in the meantime lay them to waste..."

Team Europe is so detailed that @DodoMolinari even predicted the exact Ryder Cup score a year ago with @JosephLaMagna on The Fried Egg Golf Podcast 🔮
Lowry’s putt wasn’t just to win the Ryder Cup. It was also to prevent us from losing it in the worst way imaginable. If he doesn’t make it then the pressure on Hatton and Bob increases by about a million. Shane played 18 with so much on the line and he stood tall. Hero.

Q: “Rory, how satisfying was it to tell that fan to ‘shut the fuck up’ before stiffing it?”
Rory McIlroy: “It felt pretty fucking good.”
Tommy Fleetwood: “It wasn’t stiff. I had to putt it.”
