My name is Eden Yerushalmi.
On October 7th, I was taken hostage by Hamas.
I was starved until I weighed just 79 pounds, subjected to unimaginable suffering, and ultimately murdered by my captors.
I was hated simply because I was a Jew.
My name was Eden.
I had a life. Dreams. A family. People who loved me.
They took my life, but they cannot erase my name.
Will you remember me?

Every time there is an anti-Israel hate rally, there should be a counterprotest with a giant screen playing this footage from October 7.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres said: “I have never seen killing and destruction like Gaza in all my years as Secretary-General.”
According to even the most critical reports, Guterres, 70,000 people were killed in the war in Gaza, a large proportion of them Hamas terrorists.
During your years as Secretary-General: more than 600,000 people were massacred or starved to death in Ethiopia.
377,000 died in Yemen — that figure appears in reports issued by your own organization.
150,000 were killed in Sudan and 12 million were displaced.
Hundreds of thousands have been buried in Ukraine.
You didn’t see it? They died before your eyes. You simply looked the other way, because the Jews couldn’t be blamed.

“Why did an UNRWA teacher hold my 84-year-old mother hostage in his Gaza attic?”
Good question from courageous peace activist @netaheiman.
And we’d like to know: Why are 🇪🇺🇫🇷🇩🇪🇬🇧🇸🇪🇧🇪🇨🇦🇦🇺🇩🇰🇮🇹🇯🇵🇮🇪🇳🇱🇳🇴🇪🇸🇨🇭still funding UNRWA hate and terrorism?

This video still hits me every time I watch it. It’s one of the most moving and emotional videos of a live broadcast I’ve ever watched.
Lucy Aharish, an Arab Israeli news anchor for Channel 13, in the days after October 7, with country still on fire, and yet she just switched into English mid-broadcast and talked to the world like this is her home. Because it is.
She even apologized for doing it. “I’m sorry I’m using the microphone like this. As a journalist it’s the only weapon I have.”
Then she said OUR beloved country is under attack. Hamas is a terror organization. Not a government. Not a leadership. They murdered babies and children and old people and women and men in their beds. Kidnapped them. They fired rockets at civilians.
She didn’t spend one second making the story about being Arab. She said WE. Left, right, religious, secular, Jews, Christians, Druze, Muslims, people who came from everywhere. It’s the same fight. OUR lives. OUR kids.
Yes Israel argues. Every country argues. That doesn’t mean we don’t protect this place.
Then she went after the ones who still wouldn’t condemn it. “Imagine Saturday morning. Kids asleep next to you. Sirens. And suddenly some terrorist is in the house murdering your family in front of you. Can you imagine that? Look into our eyes. Stand with us.”
A lot of people were very careful that week. But she wasn’t. And that’s why I still play it.

How many armed “poor oppressed innocent Palestinian journalists” does it take to strip, beat, and kidnap one unarmed Jewish girl?
7.

Ziv, a survivor of the Nova festival, and Eliya, who survived 505 days in captivity, just proved to the entire world that love and life will always win. An unbroken bond, a miracle of survival, and a living testament to the resilience of our people. Am Yisrael Chai. 🇮🇱🤍💍

“Lunatics Running the Asylum: That the UN would empower the Islamic Republic of Iran—one of the world's most misogynistic regimes—to a body addressing women's rights is, frankly, Orwellian. The most disturbing part is that many Western states went along.”
