This update is long overdue, and we want to be open with you. Goldenlane Studio is taking a step back from direct involvement in @kandyland_io's gaming and media efforts. When we first became involved with the project, Kandyland felt like an exciting new direction for us. The premise was strong, the possibilities felt endless, and helping shape an original horror franchise was something we were genuinely excited about. We are proud of the creative work we contributed: the characters, visual identity, cinematics, tone, atmosphere, and the way many people first experienced Kandyland’s world. At the same time, we know that our involvement raised questions among our audience, especially because Kandyland operated in a space connected to Web3 and NFTs. We understand why people asked those questions, and we should have communicated more clearly about Goldenlane Studio’s direction sooner. Goldenlane Studio has always been focused on visual storytelling, character work, cinematics, horror, and world-building. Moving forward, that is where we want our own studio work to remain focused. Future Goldenlane-led projects will not involve blockchain, NFTs, or Web3. Kandyland has its own team and official channels. Any future updates about the franchise should come from Kandyland directly on those channels. Goldenlane may still offer limited creative guidance on the broader franchise if asked. As our direct involvement changes, we want to be clear about where Goldenlane Studio is focused now: projects led directly by our studio, shaped around our own creative direction, communication, and long-term vision. Right now, our focus is on building something new. Something fully ours. A new IP developed by Goldenlane Studio, shaped by the lessons we have learned, and built around the atmosphere, storytelling, and craft you have come to expect from us. Alongside that, we are also preparing new cinematics in the FNAF universe that many of you know and love. To everyone who supported us, questioned us, challenged us, or simply cared enough to follow the journey: thank you. Your voices matter more than you know. Goldenlane Studio
