I have to agree here. I have received tons of advice; from the biggest artists in the scene to artists outside of it. I can’t blame my lack of growth on anyone but myself. primarily the main advice I got from everyone was release schedule. I never implemented one. And my growth has suffered for it. I take the responsibility! So should you! We are nothing without feedback. Take it on the chin. Whether you like what you hear or don’t!

I will say this, advice is advice. You take it or leave it. It could work or could not work. Something I did see among up and coming guys were, you would ask for advice, not take the advice, then complain that the scene is against you. That’s where my cut off was. Do what you love 100%. But the complaining is insane. A person who is happy and consistent with work doesn’t have time to complain. And there are still objective truths…the more you do something, the more you push forward, you will be in a different place than you were when you started. That isn’t advice. That is a truth. And a lot of you guys stop pushing or moving forward. Which is another truth.

Just got back from Supergirl. Loved it. Every time Kara went into the sun, I got chills. Was it as good as Superman? No. Not even close. But it’s great nonetheless. Overall, with my expert opinion as a lifelong DC fan…. 7/10.
