How close Pedro Acosta was to Marc Marquez all weekend at the Aragon MotoGP. Team mates in 2027 on the same factory Ducatis should bring some very exciting battles.
It was forty years ago today when Ian McConnachie won the 1986 80cc British Grand Prix at Silverstone, riding a Krauser. It was also my first commissioned job in GP racing. Here is a photo of him celebrating his victory with his dad.
So sad to hear that this year's 30th MotoGP race at Phillip Island will be its last. I have been to them all since 1989. It is unique event with its undulating mix of fast and slow corners against an ocean backdrop much loved by riders, fans and photographers.
