ALT Details on a study at the University of Guelph. Researchers are launching a study on leishmaniosis in recently adopted dogs from outside of Canada to estimate the prevalence of canine infection and determine the potential lifestyle and medical risk factors for the disease. The study involves free bloodwork for dogs that have been imported from regions endemic for canine leishmaniosis and a questionnaire about the life and medical history of the dog. Participants gain free testing for a serious canine disorder and valuable information on the health status of their dog. If interested contact Sydney Dewinter at [email protected].

Dairy farmers - Bovine leukosis can impair health and productivity. We are looking for dairy herds in SW Ontario for a study on when leukosis infection occurs. Periodic visits over 18 months.
