99% of purchases made are justified with “what if” scenarios
Replying to @itsumeshk
you're gonna buy a flying car so that you can save yourself from a 1 in a billion chance of a brigde collapsing right infront of you?
I have yet to see an ad like this that makes me want to buy
The voice sounds monotone, the syncing with the mouth is off, the cringe stock B-roll is trash
I don't doubt people have bought from ads like this
Willing to bet it's the older generations though, not mills/gen z
I don’t think the SaaS industry is going to die
I don’t know anyone (especially founders) that wants to code a whole program and go back and forth with AI to fix it
Some DIYers may, but most?
Nah, easier to pay for the convenience as long as it works
The thing that makes GTM Engineers unique and different from your typical BDR is simply that one is technical and one is not
Most BDRs (and AEs for that matter) hate doing anything even slightly technical
They just want to hop on the phone and cold call or send emails in a CRM
looking back, i used to clown on the idea of a “GTM Engineer”, mainly because it felt like people were just trying to create a new buzzword for someone who does outbound
while this was kind of true at the time (clay literally created the term for marketing), it seems it’s evolved into something much more
the people i’ve found to be best at this sort of thing are exceptionally good at reverse engineering success stories and applying them to different areas
it’s not just about running cold email or making a cool clay table, but being able to identify PMF better than sometimes even the founders themselves
and then being able to understand the buyer better than they understand themselves
and then being able to turn that understanding into persuasive messaging
and then being able to do that at scale without breaking things
the role itself changes literally every month and eventually the term “GTME” might not even exist anymore, but in my personal opinion the person who is capable of filling that role is quite literally the most valuable person you can have at a company
I tried the chick fil a chicken and waffles.
Highly recommended.
Yes it’s a seed oil concoction, but idc.
They’re delicious.
The ability to learn from the mistakes of others is a skill that goes unrecognized.
.
You’ve got to recognize that some people cannot learn unless they experience things themselves.
Books, data, facts, feelings, etc don’t cut it for them. It just doesn’t click.
Don’t try to change these people, it’s a waste of breath.
Every single successful influencer I’ve met is successful because they found their clique
Finding yours is 10000x better then any algorithm tricks and clickbait
They’ll give you all the engagement (and credibility) you need.
I used to love BMWs growing up…
But this is the ugliest model I’ve seen to date.
I didn’t think they could get any worse than the previous generation.
