Susan Dell encourages parents to sign up to Trump Accounts after her and Michael Dell gave $6.25 billion to put in the accounts of 25 million children. “These accounts are ready. They're waiting for you, and they have money in them.” The philanthropist is encouraging parents and grandparents to sign up to the accounts to help give children savings for when they turn adults.

For my entire life, I’ve approached God a little like this painting. This is Raphael’s The School of Athens, painted during the Italian Renaissance on a wall inside the Vatican. At its center stand Plato and Aristotle. Plato points toward the heavens. Aristotle reaches his hand outward toward the physical world. Two different ways of trying to understand reality. I grew up Catholic and attended Catholic schools. I had to take a religion class every single semester of my young life. Scripture was something we studied. We were tested on it. We learned theology, doctrine, biblical history, and different methods of interpreting Scripture. I learned early about the difference between reading the Bible literally and reading it contextually. I have always been a contextualist. Maybe that’s because the Bible became an intellectual exercise for me before it ever became much of a spiritual one. None of the stories I’m reading during this 365-day Bible project are particularly new to me. I know these people. I know these stories. I have been studying them in one form or another since I was a little girl sitting in Catholic school. What’s new is the reader. I have always been a seeker of knowledge. My instinct throughout life has been to search for the physical evidence. Show me the documents. Show me the history. Show me the science. Show me something I can observe, test, touch, argue about, or prove. I still approach Scripture that way. But now I’m trying something else at the same time. I’m trying to see what my eyes cannot see and understand what my hands cannot physically touch. Strangely enough, Madonna helped push me toward this experiment. I recently watched her long interview with Jay Shetty about spirituality. Madonna is another cradle Catholic, and I was fascinated listening to someone who obtained extraordinary levels of fame, wealth, success, and material accomplishment describe still finding herself spiritually empty and searching for answers. Her search eventually led her to Kabbalah. Mine led me back to a book I already knew. It made me think about how thoroughly I had neglected the spiritual dimension of myself. I never completely stopped wrestling with the Bible over the years. But for a long time I approached Christianity from a place of hostility. Being gay complicated my relationship with the religion I grew up in, and Scripture became something I was more interested in arguing with than listening to. At 44, after everything I have experienced in this life, I’m willing to listen again. And today, on Day 17, I landed on Proverbs 3:13-18. “Happy is the one who finds wisdom.” And then: “She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her.” That stopped me. Because after all these years, I’m still doing exactly what I have always done. Searching. The difference is that I spent most of my life searching almost exclusively for knowledge that could be demonstrated to me in the physical world. Now I’m asking whether wisdom might require me to look somewhere else, too. I don’t intend to abandon reason, evidence, history, science, or skepticism. Those things are part of me. Maybe the mistake was believing that intellectual curiosity and spiritual curiosity had to compete with one another. Look again at Raphael’s painting. Plato points upward. Aristotle reaches outward toward the world. Maybe I don’t have to choose between them. Maybe I can look in both directions. The Bible hasn’t changed. The reader has.

The defense attorney should be disbarred. #LindseyClancy
Let’s call this what it is, the defense attorney in the Lindsay Clancy trial just doxxed the lone member of the jury that led to this mistrial. By publicly pointing out that the single holdout in the 11-1 mistrial was one of only three men on the jury, he put a massive, dangerous target right on that man’s back. Why would a defense lawyer leak specific demographics about a lone holdout? Because it sends a chilling message to every single juror who will ever sit in that courtroom if they have a retrial: “Align with us, or we will expose you to the mob.” We are living in a terrifying time when the press and defense attorneys can weaponize public pressure against a lone citizen doing his civic duty. If the media outs this man, his safety is on their hands. Pray for that juror's safety.

Bad water destroys our bodies and minds. Being a traditional Catholic is not “Go to Latin Mass and just drink the government’s hormonal cocktail tap water.” The Pope praying and advocating for clean water is righteous and good and I support him. People mocking the pope for this are misguided. Jacob was a well digger. The ministries of Moses and Elijah were validated by access to clean water. We support a herd of cattle on natural spring water and I want our aquifers protected from pesticides and chemicals. Our family also invested in home water filtration to remove all chemicals (birth control and pesticides) from our water. If you’re a Catholic mocking Pope Leo for this, check yourself.

Dolly Parton is dead, and the church never knew what to do with her. Half my feed is posting rhinestones today. The other half never trusted her, because she would not wear the uniform. She never preached a sermon. She just did the works. One man. Fifty-eight years. In an industry that eats marriages. No scandal reel, no reality show, no trading up. Just Carl, and a promise kept until death did them part. She could have built towers in Nashville. Instead she built in the mountains she came from, so the people she came from could work. Two hundred million books. Given away to children, free, no strings, while the rest of us argued about what to read. A million dollars for a vaccine in the middle of a plague, and she called it what it was: helping. She was a feminist who never used the word, a superstar who never left home, and a believer who never made you watch her pray. "Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works." James 2:18. We spent years asking whether she was one of ours. She never asked whether we were one of hers. She was too busy feeding children. I do not know her heart. That was never my job. I know her works, because the whole county she came from lives on them. "Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." Matthew 7:20. You want to honor her today? Put down the tribute post. Put a book in a kid's hands. Stay married. Do the works. That was the whole sermon. She just never said it out loud.

I think that Trump renaming Lake Ontario to Lake America is pointless and stupid. Wanna know what else I think is dumb? The fact left-wingers are triggered about this after they spent the last decade plus renaming sports teams, public schools and universities, streets and highways, food and condiment brands, and redefining half the dictionary altogether. Here’s a list of some in case you forgot: • Washington Redskins ➡️ Commanders • Cleveland Indians ➡️ Guardians • Stanford Indians ➡️ Cardinals • Loudoun County Raiders ➡️ Captains • Edmonton Eskimos ➡️ Elks • Columbus Day ➡️ Indigenous Peoples’ Day • Lee–Jackson Day ➡️ eliminated • Robert E. Lee High School ➡️ John Lewis High • Jefferson Davis Highway ➡️ Richmond Highway • Mount McKinley ➡️ Denali • Fort Bragg ➡️ Fort Liberty • Fort Hood ➡️ Fort Cavazos • Boy Scouts of America ➡️ Scouting America • Aunt Jemima ➡️ Pearl Milling Company • Uncle Ben’s Rice ➡️ Ben’s Original • Eskimo Pie ice cream bars ➡️ Edy’s Pie • Land O’Lakes ➡️ removed the Indian, but kept the land • Illegal alien ➡️ undocumented worker • Hispanic ➡️ Latinx (a term Hispanics did not want and do not use) • Mother ➡️ birthing person • Anchor baby ➡️ child of noncitizens • black ➡️ Black • Breastfeeding ➡️ chest feeding • Inmate / prisoner / convict / felon ➡️ justice-involved person • Ex-con / ex-felon ➡️ returning citizen • “Gender” as a biological fact interchangeable with “sex” to being a social construct • Fat ➡️ plus-sized • Master bedroom ➡️ primary bedroom • Manhole ➡️ utility hole And so on and so on. . .

Yes. My son died 16 days after his 1st Pfizer shot. Histopathology showed myocarditis, pericarditis and fatal aortic dissection. Spike protein was found in his aorta which decimated the endothelium. No nucleocapsid- he never had covid. He was healthy, no collagen deficiency disorders, no aneurysm, no high blood pressure. His death was a crime and those perpetrating the lie of safe and effective must be brought to justice for reckless endangerment with depraved indifference to human life. His death was not rare- you can’t find what you don’t look for. Had I not done extensive forensic investigations I would never have known the truth. His peer reviewed and published case directly links the vaccine to his death. I will never forgive or forget and will seek justice no matter how long it may take.

Truth bomb right here!
The political theater in Texas right now is wild. Look at .@jamestalarico , the state representative running for U.S. Senate. He markets himself as a progressive Christian voice, but his platform is a massive contradiction. He fights to keep the Bible out of public schools under the guise of separating church and state, yet he has no problem standing on the Texas House floor to preach his own theology, literally claiming that "God is non-binary." The double standard is hard to miss. He argues that traditional scripture shouldn't be used to instruct children, but then he turns around and votes against bills that protect minors from permanent gender transition procedures. He claims he wants religion out of public policy, but he constantly uses his version of faith to push progressive agendas. It shows exactly how the current political landscape twists tradition to fit a specific narrative.
