WORDS OF THE DAY: ELIMINATION
Inspired by TOPBOY @GodFatherRuk
Some people spend so much time trying to eliminate somebody else's success that they forget to build their own.
You can't erase hard work, dedication or years of accomplishments just because you don't like somebody.
Focus on your own growth. Greatness isn't eliminated by opinions.
When I said this yesterday. Some moronic fans came to my post crying & littering the whole place with their tears.
I should prolly just leave Norway and go start my own hiphop podcast in Nigeria, with a couple of OVO’s. 🤌🏾😂
🚨 The Joe Budden Podcast says DRAKE is now the one rapper who can challenge Jay-Z’s famous longevity claim:
“There’s never been a nigga this good for this long.”
“One that he could argue with now… and that’s DRAKE.”
“I want Drake to FLIP that line on him so bad.”
The crew says Jay wasn’t necessarily the hottest rapper at every point, naming 50 Cent, Nelly & Eminem as artists who had hotter moments, but argues Hov’s ability to remain near the top while others came and went is what separated his run.
Charleston White is actually a smart person.
Adam22 and Charleston white compared 2Pac to Drake and they believe that, Drake is just like 2Pac. I feel like after 2Pac died, people just became so protective of him, so they don’t even wanna talk about his flaws or whatever won’t make him cool. For instance, 2Pac is probably the only artist in hiphop that, people don’t care that, he was an actor before being a rapper. On the other hand, there’s people who hate Drake, because he was an actor before becoming a rapper. And by the way, 2Pac is not even from California; he was born in New York City, and he was raised in Harlem and Baltimore.
When I bought my land it was 6.7 million naira with agent fee & community levy(something like that).
Immediately I started building, they begged me to buy these two plots of land by the side & back of my house for 7 million each, today those lands are going for 19 & 21 million.

50 Cent managed to expose two uncomfortable truths in the same conversation.
Drake survived the biggest rap battle of his career and his catalog kept selling.
Kendrick gets treated like a once in a generation discovery for a style hip hop already had in Mos Def and Talib Kweli.
One artists audience keeps showing up. The others reputation gets defended with awards and critical acclaim.
Why do people act like only one of those things counts?
50 Cent says artists like Kendrick Lamar have existed in Hip Hop culture before, comparing him to Talib Kweli and Mos Def
"Kendrick is... worlds apart, different animals... they been had Kendrick in our culture but it was Talib Kweli... Mos Def.... those guys are capable of what Kendrick offered... it was conscious smart rap... sit down be humble, who tf says that bro? look at the culture and what they say... Cardi comes and is like my p*ssy, agua..."

No empirical evidence.
Just tears 🪣 and emotions littering the whole place.
98 & 09 empirical evidence, respectively.
Replying to @GodFatherRuk
98 & 09 belong to Jay. No amount of revisionist history from you tethers or Gen z children will change that.

Everybody and their mama are now throwing Drake Parties @certifiedjared you really started a trend out there. A sold out Drake themed party without Drake in attendance. Apple Music venue that they recently opened where baby keem and co performed at has a 600 guest capacity 🤣🤣
Notice how every single one of them have a different favorite song.
This is how all Drake’s songs get massive streams. Every body has a different reason for the song they like & relate to.
JayZ is like Jcole.🤌🏾
•Can both rap circles around 80% of rappers? YES.
•Can both go on a successful rap tour any time? YES.
•Do they have great rap albums that sold well & did good chart wise? YES.
But they NEVER RAN SHIT in HIPHOP. They were hustling around being great.
I dislike Kendrick from the bottom of my heart.
Sales wise Drake & Eminem took the price….
But overall yearly performance(factoring everything), I think he clearly has that year & capped it off with an album.
JayZ’s greatest achievement in HIPHOP is marrying BEYONCÉ. Feeding off of his wife’s influence. & then confusing his fans by mixing his other business with music.
Is JayZ a better lyricist than 50? YES
Does JayZ ha have better rap album than 50? YES
But he never ran an ERA.
There has never in the HISTORY of music, since I started listening to HIPHOP; where there have been a JayZ year. NEVER.
🤝Eminem has multiple years
🤝Kanye has
🤝50cent has
🤝Lil Wayne has
🤝 Drake has a Decade.
🤝 Kendrick dominated 2024
✅50cent clears JayZ overall.
50 cent’s peak clears any Jay Z’s big moment in hip hop
50 cent once sold a million units in a week and was making waves globally . The jiggyman also has no solo number 1 song he won’t have any number song without the help of Rihanna , Beyoncé and Alicia keys
Jay Z has a longer run but 50 cent’s peak was on a whole nother level
This would have been the scene, If the USA had elected that naive WOMAN.
Sometimes I wished they did, so they could suffer bad governance & 3rd world problems.
JUST THE WAY “Barrack Obama” help bring in the most useless political Party ever known in Nigerian history.
