Making the scientific case for God. Penrose, fine-tuning, entropy, and faith with logic. No brimstone. Just probability, philosophy, and physics.

What if the most brilliant physicist alive quietly ran the math... ...and it pointed straight to God? Not religion. Not doctrine. Just cold, cosmic numbers. Here’s what Roger Penrose found—and why no one in science wants to talk about it. 🧵

So what do we do when the math screams: “This shouldn’t exist... not by chance”? We don’t rethink the premise. We invent multiverse theory. Countless unobservable, untestable universes... just to make this one seem less special. That’s not science. That’s statistical denial.

So if you're wondering whether faith and science are at war... They’re not. Sometimes, science just takes longer to admit where it's pointing.

Penrose wasn’t talking about Earth or humans. He was talking about low entropy.....the special, staggeringly precise conditions required just to allow galaxies, time, and order to emerge. The overwhelming majority of universes? Pure, unstructured chaos.

So no, Penrose didn’t say “God did it.” But he did say: “This now tells us how precise the Creator’s aim must have been.” He’s not some backroom preacher. He’s a Nobel-winning physicist. And the numbers don’t lie.

In 1989, Nobel-winning physicist Sir Roger Penrose calculated the odds that our universe’s initial conditions....the ones that allow for any structure or order....could’ve occurred by chance. The result? 1 in 10^10^123 You can’t even write that number out. There aren’t enough atoms in the universe.

This number comes from the phase space of all possible configurations a universe could have taken under general relativity. Almost all those possibilities are pure chaos.....no structure, no stars, no observers. Not this. Not us.

Penrose didn’t “prove God” like E=mc². What he did show is that the odds of our universe emerging randomly in a usable, low-entropy state are: 1 in 10^10^123 That’s not just rare. That’s absurdly rare. Statistically impossible by accident.

The numbers were never the problem. It was the implications. Penrose saw them. Science ignored them. 👇 Full thread here:

Science didn’t disprove God. It quietly pointed to Him... Then looked away.

If you believe in reason, probability, and logic....then you should believe it takes more faith not to believe in a Creator. The numbers are in. Follow @GodDidMath for more threads where science meets faith—and God doesn’t blink. ✨ #RogerPenrose #FineTuning #Apologetics #GodDidTheMath

Just got banned from r/DebateReligion for saying Roger Penrose “proved God… at least mathematically.” The mod’s reason? “Troll.” Not for hate. Not for spam. For quoting a Nobel physicist. Apparently “1 in 10^10^123” breaks community guidelines now.

They didn’t ban me for being wrong. They banned me for quoting someone too smart to dismiss. And now they’re stuck calling Nobel Prize-winning physics “uncivil.” Alexa, play “Projection in E-Minor.” #FineTuning #Apologetics #Penrose #GodDidTheMath
