I don't really have an interest in CP until they add some radiant content to the game. I don't know if it's Bethesda brainrot but the world just gets emptier and emptier as you play and the cool end game build has very little to do, especially stealth/hacking ones.

Trying to decide if I absolutely love this or think it’s cope for V not being mentioned in Edgerunners…
Arc Hammer@YoncleThinksOct 21
V is a Night City legend, but even in the game, that fame doesn't come with immortality. Their assault on Arasaka Tower was downright silent, and in the endings where V survives the public doesn't even know they were responsible. An urban legend, not a folk hero like David.

So frustrating that V wasn’t mention in s2 at all. You know the person who killed ADAM SMASHER?

Cyberpunk 2077's Steam reviews have hit "Overwhelmingly positive" status once again, with 95% positive reviews over the last 30 days. Cyberpunk has gone far beyond redeeming just itself and absolutely deserves to be hailed as one of the best games ever made. CDPR has nailed it.

My biggest gripe with edgerunners 2 was how it made Night City look like it had 13 residents, and isn’t a complete hellhole

Cyberpunk Edgerunners Season 2: 6.5/10 The good: Really liked the fresh crew and some of the character work, especially Weak’s more grounded lower chrome arc. It felt like a refreshing change of pace even if I was quietly hoping for one bigger revenge blowout from him by the finale. The cast has personality and the animation still looks strong, although I felt we didn’t get to see much connection between all of our main characters to the extent of last season. The bad: That said S2 doesn’t quite feel like Cyberpunk the way Season 1 did. It drops familiar names and locations but it doesn’t always come across as a fully lived in story in that world. It feels more like visiting known spots than being immersed in Night City the way S1 and the game managed. The streets also felt emptier and quieter than expected which added to that slightly detached vibe for me. Still has some cool ideas and moments overall. A quick Adam Smasher appearance would’ve been a fun thing again lol, but I get them focusing on new stories. Solid enough follow up, but just felt a bit too disjointed from the Cyberpunk universe in a way I am still struggling to put a finger on.

There’s so many reasons why Cyberpunk 2077 has been updated. On top of the obvious that they always update around the same time as an Edgerunners season, the release of GTA 6 next month provides them with a good time to squeeze more life out of this game before everyone’s attention gets consumed by Rockstar. No other game is going to release much of anything right now, so with the momentum of the anime AND the quiet window for opportunity, an update couldn’t have been done at a better time for CRPR.
