(CSE: QIMC) (OTCQB: QIMCF) (FSE: 7FJ) ("QIMC" or the "Company") today reports the C1–C4 soil-gas results from its 2026 New Salem–Apple River program in Nova Scotia and provides an integrated interpretation of the area, following the helium and geophysical results announced on September 24 and September 29, 2026. The release presents the regional gravity interpretation identifying a sedimentary sub-basin — a potential new gas kitchen — immediately west of New Salem, and sets out how the New Salem–Apple River gas corridor relates to the Company's Apple River–Bennett Hill clean natural hydrogen corridor along the North Cobequid fault zone. The interpretation and geological model were prepared by Professor Marc Richer-Laflèche, Ph.D., of the Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS), Québec.

Quick update from the team. Our President and CEO John K is at the Hyvolution Conference in Trois-Rivières this week, meeting with industry, government and technical partners focused on hydrogen in Québec.
Good timing, because the Cumberland system keeps on growing.
Hydrogen, helium and natural gas (C1–C4) all appear to be moving through the same fault system, sourced off the same basement structure, and accumulating toward the same interval. Practically, that means one seismic program images several targets at the same time. We don't need three exploration efforts for three gases.
Each gas carries its own value:
• Helium: scarce, strategic, with very few secure North American sources
• Natural gas: established market, established infrastructure, revenue path
• Clean natural hydrogen: the energy-transition upside
A system that can deliver more than one of these has much more strategic value than a single-gas play. And because the gases share the same plumbing, each one we detect adds support to the geological model behind the others. Helium showing up isn't a side note; it's evidence the system works the way we think it does.
That's what we mean when we say the Cumberland multi-gas system keeps growing.
We'll share highlights from Hyvolution as they come in, with John K on the natural hydrogen panel tomorrow.

Lots of questions today on three points from the New Salem-Apple River release — scale, the ramp, and the traps. Scale: helium and current C1-C4 nat gas zones cluster within 1.5 km of three faults along a ~10 km × 2 km basement body, all inside the gravity-defined transition zone. The ramp: a NW-dipping basin-basement contact focusing gas up-dip. The traps: porous Lower Carboniferous sandstones in fault-bounded structures — conventional, natural flow. ("Echo Seismic") to undertake an approximately 8-kilometre two-dimensional ("2D") seismic line in Nova Scotia. The program will use non-invasive, road-based Vibroseis technology, with no dynamite or other explosives. The survey will investigate the subsurface geology beneath an area where soil-gas sampling identified significant hydrogen anomalies, with the objective of improving the definition of potential hydrogen migration pathways and targets for future drill testing.
First Atlas also announces that it has staked an additional 10 exploration licences comprising 704 claims in Nova Scotia, increasing the Company's provincial land position to 45 exploration licences and 2,877 claims.
Highlights
Targeted seismic follow-up: An approximately 8-kilometre 2D line will investigate the geological structures beneath hydrogen soil-gas anomalies.
Experienced seismic contractor: Echo Seismic, also engaged by QIMC for its Nova Scotia program, will use road-based Vibroseis acquisition and nodal recording equipment.
Non-invasive acquisition: Vibroseis trucks will operate along existing roads, with no dynamite, other explosives, shot-hole drilling or new seismic-line construction required.
Expanded exploration position: An additional 704 claims increase First Atlas's Nova Scotia claim count by approximately 32.4%, from 2,173 to 2,877 claims.
