They said Stuff the Bus — and our friends at @GoTriangle delivered! A huge thank-you to GoTriangle and everyone who donated to today's school supply drive at their Durham headquarters. We were thrilled to be receiving a load of new school supplies for Tools4Schools that will soon be in the hands of @WCPSS teachers and their students. And we especially love that this was truly a Triangle-wide effort, with supplies also supporting Crayons2Calculators in Durham and the Teacher Supply Store serving Chapel Hill-Carrboro educators. It was great to highlight the $2 million in federal funding @RepDeborahRoss and I were able to secure for @GoTriangle’s Mobility Hub through the Community Project Funding process. This hub will link our buses, passenger rail, future bus rapid transit, and other modes of travel across the Triangle. This is a major step for transit accessibility in our region, and we’ll keep fighting to keep our communities connected.

This morning, @ValerieFoushee and I announced $2 million for the @GoTriangle Triangle Mobility Hub, which will connect transportation across the region. This means easier access to work, less congestion on our roads, and more ways to travel across the area.
