They don’t get it. Halo isn’t capeshit. It’s anime. Master Chief is an anime character in a sci-fi shooter. He has a girlfriend who lives in his helmet, his dad is the captain, he has a badass black sergeant friend, he says dry but humorous one liners, and sometimes when he teleports he teleports upside down and doesn’t fall until he notices it.

Currently listening, Find it hilarious 343i looked at Halo 5 for learnings, where regarding campaign they used a Marvel superhero writer to create a narrative they reflected on as a mistake... To then hire a Batman writer to create the next narrative. Halo isn't capeshit, duh.
