Today, it’s not just employees touching infrastructure. It’s workloads, automation, and AI agents acting at machine speed.
That’s why @Cisco and Teleport are announcing a strategic partnership to deliver on the future of Infrastructure Identity.
We’re moving the industry from fragmented, credential-based access to a trusted, cryptographic foundation that secures every human and machine action across the enterprise.

Things Every Developer Should Know: CI/CD Pipelines.
CI/CD pipelines automate the path from code change to production.
A typical pipeline connects:
→ Source control
→ Automated testing
→ Artifact creation
→ Security scanning
→ Deployment
The goal is simple: catch problems earlier and make releases repeatable.
But automating deployment creates another problem: the pipeline still needs permission to access your infrastructure.
It may need to push a container image, deploy to Kubernetes, access a database, or modify cloud resources.
One option is to give the pipeline a long-lived credential.
But that means another secret to store, rotate, and protect.
Workload identity takes a different approach.
Instead of storing a permanent secret, the workload proves its identity and receives short-lived access when it needs it.
Teleport’s Machine & Workload Identity applies this model to CI/CD jobs, AI agents, and other automated workloads accessing infrastructure.
CI/CD controls how code moves through the deployment process.
Workload identity controls what that automation is allowed to access.

Most Kubernetes clusters are running cluster-admin bindings that started as "temporary."
Temporary three years ago.
Wrote up how to find them and fix them without breaking prod, for @goteleport: goteleport.com/blog/how-to-r…
13 Teleport engineers spent a quarter hunting vulnerabilities with LLMs and found more high severity bugs than in 2024 and 2025 combined. Teleport's Director of Product and Director of Security team up on a panel with @Persistent_Psi's Markus Vervier to talk offense vs. defense in the age of AI:

Zero Trust was built for humans and machines, and agents behave like neither. At Identity Summit New York, Diana Jovin walks through the three Agent Trust principles, while Cassie Breviu and Boris Kurktchiev put them to work during a live demo to close out today's sessions.
Engineer onboarding at @duosec went from a week to five minutes after the team replaced standing privileges with identity. Ben McKenna is on stage now at Identity Summit New York.
Teleport is at @CoreWeave's first Fully Connected at Moscone South through October 1, talking short-lived certificates for GPU nodes that join and leave clusters in minutes.
