Had a really great time at the Middleburg Film Festival where they held a concert featuring a bunch of my scores.
We gave a few pieces from Project Hail Mary a go for the first time and it was very magical.

I witnessed Elmer Bernstein conduct the score for this movie for two weeks when I was studying under him.
Just watching and hearing the music live, out of context, out of narrative order, made it seem like the movie would be fun!
