Sophie Cunningham commended the Washington high school girls who have refused to compete against a boy pretending to be a girl. โGood work girls,โ she wrote. Good for Sophie, who continues to be brave in a world of womenโs sports filled with cowards. sportandstate.com/2026/10/16โฆ

Most people with large platforms cave and issue a groveling apology the minute they get a little pushback. Not Sophie Cunningham.
Good for her. This type of moral conviction is so rare.

Replying to @MySportsUpdate
And with that Lamar Jackson in the last 5 years has missed more games than Joe Burrow yet only one is labeled injury prone.

I stand with Briley ๐ #SaveWomensSports
My dad and I filed a federal lawsuit this week, and I want to explain it in my own words.
Last September, my varsity team played a match without being told who we would be competing against, and our lawsuit says the adults in charge knew a day ahead of time and kept it from us and from our parents.
I believe girls deserve to know the truth before they step into the locker room, and not after.
Thank you to everyone who has supported our family, and to Thomas More Law Center for taking our case.

A dozen girls walked away in protest from a high school cross-country race in Washington state on Tuesday after a male, who had raced on the boy's team for his school earlier in the season, was now racing against them as a girl. I applaud these young ladies for standing up for themselves and the rights of female athletes. They werenโt disrespectful, they just quietly walked away as the race started and the rest of the runners took off. God bless them for taking a stand. I pray that our nation will wake up and put an end to this nonsense.

The thing about 24 that bothers me most isโฆ
Who is this for?
Itโs not because TV was begging for it. ESPN had to be convinced.
Itโs not for a boatload of new cash. Losing conf champ games is gonna make this a minimal gain.
Itโs not because the 22nd team has any shot at a natty. It doesnโt.
Itโs certainly not done with the health, safety, or academic success of the players in mind since they donโt even get a say in this.
Itโs entirely to appease the people donating the money that keeps a financially irresponsible business model afloat. Itโs discounting success so schools can say โlook what your donation bought.โ
Itโs an industry hellbent on treating investors and bosses as the customer, and customers as an infinite resource that will keep coming back no matter what.

โIncidentally, has anyone considered that, if pilots had not been forbidden to carry guns, there might be thousands of Americans still alive today and the World Trade Center still standing?โ

Bengals fans please I urge you to watch other QBs play. They do not process as fast as Joe. They also bail on their pockets that Joe just glides around in. He makes 10 - 15 yard throws look so routine. We are so used to him dropping back WHEN THE OTHER TEAM KNOWS weโre throwing that we take it for granted. 90% of the QBs that are currently winning are just in a system. Joe is the system & when you watch other games, like full games you will see what real football analyst see. The accuracy & decision making he makes look so easy. Itโs not till you see other QBs you really see the difference.
Now go watch all the games you can this week on the bye. Watch what I tell you. @markschlereth is really locking into the film.

If only all athletes had the courage to stand for what they really believe, versus what theyโre told to believe by the wokesters. Love Sophieโs response, especially that last line ๐
Sophie responds to the article from @TheAthletic demanding Fever to drop her
"If you're going to live by the praise, you'll die by the hate.....I'm going to continue to do me.....suck it"
This is the appropriate response. We should all be more like this.

Womenโs sports are for women.
We will continue to support those who boldly stand up to safeguard fairness, ensure safety, and protect opportunities for every female athlete.
Sophie Cunningham lets her hat do the talking.
The WNBA star steps out at her alma mater Missouri wearing a cap with one word stamped across the front: "WOMAN." On the side, another message reads, "No Cis, just ..."
The message comes after Cunningham faced backlash this season for saying she wants to protect girls in sports and locker rooms from having to compete against biological males.
