Gavin Grahovac, the Angels 2026 3rd round selection, has been on fire to start his career!
The big-bodied first baseman out of Texas A&M wields intriguing raw power and a knack for keeping the ball in the air. He has hit 8 HR in just 24 games since joining the org

The #Angels turned down the #Cubs' offers to trade for Logan O'Hoppe before the deadline:

First time I’ve been happy with an Angel’s first rounder in years
The pick is in 😇
With the 12th overall pick in the 2026 #MLBDraft, we have selected OF Jared Grindlinger from Huntington Beach HS.

Ryan Johnson's pro career is very indicative of Angels chaotic/desperate PD structure.
• Starts in MLB as leverage reliever. No MiLB time.
• Optioned to Hi-A
• Back in MLB as starter
• Injured
• Mop up MLB long-man
• Starter in Double-A
All in span of 13 months.
"Where’s the plan? There is no plan. This kid deserves better."
@Mtrumbo44 has "no clue" what the Angels are doing with top pitching prospect Ryan Johnson.

I know Kikuchi is wearing 16 this year, but can the Halos retire that number already?
Should have happened years ago.

Mike Trout said he's always slightly stepped back before swinging during BP but brought it into games late last season. Felt good enough this spring to drop it but felt he needed to bring it back on Friday. Helps him from spinning and getting under the ball.

Catch of the Day- By the Numbers
Bryce Teodosio (4/10/26)
The best kind of highlight catch, the one nobody noticed! Just a 5% catch probability on this ball, though that's rounded up. 0% estimated success rate on Savant.
Teodosio ended the game with this beauty, covering 83 ft in just 4.2 seconds. His jump was recorded at an incredible 10.9 ft above average!

STOP HITTING MIKE TROUT.
I HATE YOU @Mariners

That's the most incredible thing I've seen in a long time.
Jo Adell has robbed three homers tonight.
Three.
Also, aside from Trout, Detmers, Adell, and a week of O’Hoppe, the Angels’ roster has now completely turned over since the 2022 season

Gabriel Davalillo was the top catcher in the 2025 international signing class and signed with the Angels in January.
In the DSL this summer. he's hitting .302/.408/.518 with seven home runs and 23 walks to 21 strikeouts.
But it's his underlying data that makes him impeccable.
