The bloke running away in unprecedented shame & disgrace still gets to award ‘honours’ to the bullies, idiots & sycophants who enabled him for years. Just think how that looks to the rest of the world. (And also how steaming Dacre & Dorries must be to come away with nothing.)

Untruths being peddled everywhere.
Johnson wasn’t forced out by anyone but himself. The Privileges Committee (Conservative dominated) would recommend, the Commons (Conservative dominated) would vote, his constituents (Conservative majority) would decide.
He chose to quit.

After briefly falling for his schtick in 2008, I will always be proud that our little radio show provided an almost unique place in the U.K. media where the full extent of Johnson’s personal & political depravity could be detailed. And I will always be amazed at the depths to which countless client journalists sank in his service. No doubt they will continue to demean themselves & their profession in his defence.

I lost my mum in 2022.
She didn’t die of covid, but she had two lonely years before she died, sticking to the rules, whilst dying of cancer.
WHERE IS HER FUCKING HONOUR YOU CRETINS?

Bringing this fatal motion has been a big decision for me and I've woken at night worrying about it. I hate to waste Parliamentary time when we have so many Bills to debate. But what choice is there when we have a Govt prepared to break all the rules? We have to fight back.

I just signed the petition calling on Boris Johnson's resignation honours to be blocked. Will you sign too?

'Little Rishi' Sunak (apparently this is what he's called in many focus groups!) weakly approved Boris Johnson honours list
The Tory party is now eating itself. Chaotic & loathed by the majority.
General Election anyone?

Amid rumours of Boris Johnson honours, what do the public think?
Our poll found:
📊Just 6% support PMs appointing to the Lords, vs 58% preferring an independent commission
📊65% want a Lords no bigger than the Commons, vs 3% wanting it (as now) uncapped

If I hear “He achieved the vaccine roll out” one more time I will lose my shit.
The NHS rolled out the vaccine. Myself and millions of other volunteers donated our time for free to get people protected. Johnson didn’t even believe that Covid fucking existed. Get fucked.

Thinking of my mum tonight, and all who died needlessly because of him. Sending all those who also lost loved ones strength. This is still not easy, it brings it all back, but finally, some justice. 🙏😔

Do you understand democracy? The committee report has to be voted on by you and your colleagues, who were elected by the people. You have a majority in house and on committee. Then any recall petition would have to be triggered by 10% of people, then a vote of the people.
SpeakingTruthToPower retweeted
Attacking a committee that has been set up by the House could be considered a contempt of parliament.

Why didn’t you vote against referring him to the privileges committee then?
Replying to @Bren4Bassetlaw
Thank you Boris for everything you have done for Bassetlaw and for this great nation of ours.
I would not be a Member of Parliament without your leadership, vision and passion. I haven’t forgotten that.
An extraordinary politician and an extraordinary person. 2/2

This isn't a resignation statement; it's a temper tantrum.
And its central claim is untrue.
Johnson says he was "forced out anti-democratically" by a "kangaroo court".
So let's remind ourselves of the process from which he has chosen to run away... 🧵
