Muslims didn’t storm the Capitol on January 6, try to steal an election, or overthrow our government.
White Christian nationalists, racist militia groups, and rabid Trump supporters did.
We need to stop pretending the biggest terrorist threat to this country is coming from somewhere else.

Adam Hamilton on transgender rights:
“I don’t think we should take a small group of people and bully them, pick on them, and hurt them. I understand one thing really clearly when it comes to transgender people, and that is Jesus told me I was to love my neighbor as I love myself.”
“I’m gonna love the trans person as well as the straight person, male or female. We have to do better than picking on small groups. What’s happened is we’ve turned a group of people into a campaign issue because it polls well.”

“You’re a horrible little reporter, aren’t you?”
If any previous president had said that to a reporter at the White House, a female reporter in particular, it would have been a multi-day scandal.
But we as a country and media have normalized this boorish, abusive misogynist.
YIKES 😳 Trump snaps at a reporter asking him about why he's dismissing sexual abuse allegations 👇
WOMAN REPORTER: Do the sexual abuse allegations mean nothing to you, sir?
TRUMP: Wait. Wait! Wait wait wait. Slow down. Who are you with?
REPORTER: NBC, sir. But they are very serious sexual abuse allegations
TRUMP: Quiet! Isn't she a fresh person? You're a horrible little reporter, aren't you?
"I don't mind trans people, I just don't want their existence shoved down my throat"
Brother, it's conservatives shoving trans people down your throat. They can't shut the fuck up about them. It's every political podcast, rally, and advertisement. It's all they think about.

The only one with a “pattern of deception” was Mike Rogers. He projected the whole entire debate and I am so glad politifact did a fact check. The man is a straight up LIAR running on pleasing trump’s demented ass and catering to bigots.

Mike Rogers brings up Democrats for Rogers twice at the Michigan Senate debate to paint Abdul El-Sayed as extreme.
It's an atroturfed group funded by Republicans. Read my reporting here:

Abdul El-Sayed's closing statement:
Nobody appreciates the promise of America like somebody who understands exactly what America gave me. I got to go to great public schools and an amazing public university.
I love this country and our Constitution, but everything has gotten way too hard.
Our politics have been bought off by big corporations, billionaires, and special interests. And what's happened to all of us? Well, it costs too much to fill up your tank. To buy groceries. To see a doctor.
You deserve to know that your politicians are not bought off by big corporations. You deserve better than an aimless war that raises your gas prices. You deserve to look your kids in the eye and know that their country is going to be better for them.
I want the America I got to experience to be America for all of her kids. That's what this campaign is about.

Jon Stewart: “Mike Rogers holds a special place of disdain in my life. This guy was a real pain in our ass in 2010, we were trying to get the Zadroga Act for 9/11 first responders and he was a particularly obstinate, oh that’s just a New York problem, he voted against it all while talking about how much he respects the heroes of 9/11 and I’m a patriot and it was all bullshit”

In my six months of phone banking and canvassing, I’ve never come across the elusive “Democrat for Mike Rogers.” No one voting across party lines because of Hasan Piker or the Muslim Brotherhood, because most people just hate Republicans.
NEW: It turns out, Democrats for Mike Rogers was financed by Republican donors. The group also paid a ex-Dem council member 30k. She went on Fox News to tout Rogers/trash El-Sayed and never disclosed the payment.

Mike Rogers would rather protect the reputation of Epstein’s co-conspirators than bring justice for the victims.
He’s a pedophile protector just like the rest of his party.

As @AbdulElSayed points out here, it’s the media obsessing over Israel and asking him about Israel in every single interview, he wants to actually talk about the price of gas and groceries.
Obviously @MikeRogersForMI does not want to talk about that and the media is helping him.
Michigan senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed (@AbdulElSayed) is noticing a disconnect between the questions voters are asking and the media's fixations. New pod tomorrow!

In leaked audio, GOP Senate Candidate Mike Rogers admits he blocked the Epstein files to protect Epstein's friends: “The court of public opinion would ruin their life for no reason... You don't want to hurt that person's career or reputation."
So protecting your pedophile buddies is more important than protecting young children from being raped by them. Is that correct, @MikeRogersForMI?
James Doe retweeted
Leaked audio: Mike Rogers blocked unredacted Epstein files to “protect” people who flew with him.
He’s more concerned with shielding those who lacked the discernment to avoid a convicted predator—claiming public opinion would ruin their lives for no reason—than protecting victims or releasing the truth about the largest sex trafficking operation in American history.
