Replying to @bennyjohnson @realDonaldTrump
Yesterday’s HUGE rally in Highland Heights, Kentucky was truly amazing. President Trump was at the podium for nearly two hours and his energy was indescribably electrifying! I had the great opportunity to meet a true MAGA icon @Brick_Suit. It’s Patriots like him who have made the movement what it is today! I’ve been 💯 MAGA since the golden escalator and I have zero regrets. I’ve voted for him three times and I would vote for him three more times if I could!

Dinner is ready.
Herbs de Provence Chicken with marinated baby potatoes, french green beans, romaine with cherry tomatoes, hot bread.
Marinade:
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons Herbs de Provence
Juice of 1 lemon
Kosher Salt
Black pepper
Mix together well.
Clean the chicken and pat completely dry.
Clean and cut in half the potatoes.
Line the potatoes skin side down in the bottom of a tray.
Pour half the marinade over the potatoes.
Place the chicken, skin side up, on top of the potatoes and drizzle the remaining marinade over.
Place the trays into a preheated 450 degree oven and bake for 30 minutes.
Turn the oven up to 525 degrees and continue to roast for 20 minutes to crisp the skin.
( if you can’t find bone in, skin on chicken breasts, cut some of the extra skin off of the thighs, fold the chicken breast under itself to make a dome and place the extra thigh skin on top)
Easy, delicious and inexpensive meal for your family. Enjoy!

Details matter
Ilhan Omar naturalized as a minor in 2000 at the age of 17.
Her father, Nur Omar Mohamed, served as a colonel in the Somali National Army under Siad Barre, a group that committed a litany of atrocities. He applied for asylum and received it in 1995, and he would not have had he shared his position in Barre's army.
This is a violation of 8 U.S.C. § 1158(b)(2)(A)(i), the so-called "persecutor bar", that prohibits asylum for people who took part in such activities.
As such, his citizenship (even posthumously) can be revoked under 8 U.S.C. §1451(a).
As a result, her citizenship (granted through an N-600 by way of her father) can be revoked under 8 U.S.C. §1451(d).
She would then be removed from Congress, as Article 1, Sec 2 requires that anyone serving in Congress be a citizen and be one for a minimum of 7 years.
Under certain circumstances, she may be allowed to stay, but the immigration fraud she committed with her brother would qualify to deport her as well.

I love days like today.
Sipping coffee on the porch this morning, in a big cable knit sweater.
Meandering into the kitchen and after making steak and eggs, biscuits, gravy and cinnamon rolls for breakfast, I started a double batch of bread.
While the dough was rising, I peeled and sliced the apples to be fried.
I peeled and cut the potatoes, carrots and onions to be roasted.
I snapped the green beans, prepared them to be boiled in water and butter, then added evaporated milk.
I chopped the garlic and drizzled the olive oil over the pork tenderloin.
I chopped the romaine, made the Caesar dressing and made the almond rum cookies.
The windows were wide open, a cool breeze making my curtains dance.
The house smells delicious and dinner is ready.

I threw together some peppered bacon deviled eggs with smoked bourbon barrel paprika. Recipe in the comments 😊 enjoy!
I threw together some peppered bacon deviled eggs with smoked bourbon barrel paprika. Recipe in the comments 😊 enjoy!
Ingredients
• 8 medium-to-small eggs
• 1¼–1½ teaspoons Dijon mustard
• 2–3 dashes Tabasco (or to taste)
• Salt, to taste
• ⅓ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
• 1¼–1½ tablespoons finely snipped fresh chives
• 4 tablespoons (¼ cup) mayonnaise
• Paprika, for garnish
• Extra chives, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. Hard-boil the eggs: Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water by about 1 inch. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Turn off the heat, cover, and let sit 9–11 minutes (start checking at 9 for smaller eggs so the yolks don’t overcook and turn green). Transfer to an ice bath, cool, then peel. Chill the peeled eggs in the fridge for about 15 minutes if you have time—this makes the whites firmer and easier to fill.
2. Make the filling: Halve the eggs lengthwise. Scoop the yolks into a bowl and mash them thoroughly with a fork until smooth. Stir in the mustard, Tabasco, salt, pepper, snipped chives, and mayonnaise until creamy and well combined. Taste and adjust—add a bit more mayo if it seems dry, or a splash more mustard/Tabasco if you want more bite. (With smaller yolks you may want slightly less mayo than the full 4 tablespoons; start with 3–3½ and add as needed.)
3. Fill and finish: Spoon or pipe the filling into the egg-white halves. Dust with paprika and garnish with a few extra chives if desired. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
I think this is my second time making chicken parmesan, I have to admit it’s a bit of work and I plan on getting better at it. Italians sure do know how to eat! ❤️
