Select a square of numbers on the main diagonal of the multiplication table. Take the sum and difference of the two different-valued corners and the sum of the same-valued corners. c=9+49=58 b =49-9=40 a=21+21=42 Then a^2+b^2=c^2! Why? Does every Pythag triple appear this way?
