Thank you @IlhanMN #farmersrightsarehumanrights #farmersrprotest @balsandhu – at Surrey, British Columbia
Solidarity with all the farmers across India protesting for their livelihood. India must protect their basic democratic rights, allow for the free flow of information, reinstate internet access, and release all the journalists detained for covering the protests.

Absolutely #WomenFarmersAgainstFarmlaws – at Surrey, British Columbia
Our women farmers are equally impacted by farm laws and are actively participating in protests against the laws. This includes the women who are taking care of the farms back home while the men are at protest sites. #WomenFarmersAgainstFarmlaws

As per survey, there was no drinking water facility made available by Govt at protest sites. Women Farmers arranged for Sanitary pads by theirselves, and 31% had to dispose off used pads along roadsides. @UNHumanRights @UNinIndia #WomenFarmersAgainstFarmlaws

The toughest of them all are the grandmothers and mothers who feel it is a 'Do or Die' battle and they aren't budging. #WomenFarmersAgainstFarmlaws

Women account for 60 to 80 percent of food production in developing countries. A crop yield gap of about 20-30 percent between male and female farmers is largely due to differential access to resources and inputs. 1 #WomenFarmersAgainstFarmlaws – at Surrey, British Columbia
