I was heartbroken to learn about the passing of @TheMitziGaynor. She was just pure joy and had a seemingly inexhaustible supply of energy that fueled her immense talent. I asked her where that energy came from and she said she was blessed to be born with it.

One of my fav projects while at Sony was promoting re-airing of her 1968 TV special MITZI (costumes by @BobMackie, of course). We live tweeted the "premiere" from her bedroom + laughed about being in bed together. We had a blast. But how can you not have a great time w/ Mitzi? ❤️
Thanks to Kevin for being an amazing wingman at my HOLIDAY event (my books are heavy!). We had a truly lovely time in Palm Springs over our extended weekend, which incl plenty of pool time. Here we paused for a pic at La Quinta Resort during our celebration after the event. #TCM
What could be better than classic film in Palm Springs? I introduced HOLIDAY on 5/5 as part of a Film Society of Screwball Comedy series at the Camelot Theatre. Walking up the aisle after my intro, a couple grabbed my arm and said "THAT was worth the price of admission." 1/3 #TCM
Still others thanked me for my presentation when they came to buy my book after the film. I loved the opportunity to speak with so many people, including some like Margaret McGregor who have also come to my events in LA.
