🚨SIX Illinois State Police squad cars have been struck in the past 3 days due to motorists disobeying the #moveover law. Three of these resulted in injuries to the Troopers, including one serious injury.
This brings the 2021 total to 10 squad cars.

Today is Scott’s Law Day. 20 years ago today Lieutenant Scott Gillen of the Chicago Fire Department was struck and killed by an intoxicated driver on the Bishop Ford Expressway while assisting at a crash scene.

There were a couple of crashes this week involving one of our workers and two @ILStatePolice troopers, all of whom were hospitalized with serious injuries.
