🚨RICHARD HEART ARRESTED IN ISTANBUL TODAY!
Hex and PulseChain founder Richard James Schueler, known as Richard Heart, was detained this morning in a Beşiktaş raid by Turkish intelligence and police.
He was wanted by Interpol on a red notice.
Authorities seized hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash, luxury watches, firearms, and computers linked to crypto activity.
He faces allegations of large-scale crypto fraud involving the U.S., Finland, and Spain.

jesus anybody with these hardware wallets better open them up.
UPDATE: I can confirm that the Ledger supply chain is compromised in Europe as well. @Ledger should initiate an immediate product recall to protect users.
I just purchased a second device from a different Mediamarkt location today, recorded the unboxing process, and discovered spyware once again (video linked in the second tweet).
The device was compromised in the exact same manner, featuring identical modifications (such as additional cables and an LTE module). This indicates its a widespread issue rather than an isolated incident, potentially affecting Ledger inventory across MediaMarkt and Saturn stores throughout Europe (comprising over 1,000 stores across 11 countries).
My initial hypothesis was that these devices were returns that looked unopened to the employees and were just sold again as new however, a MediaMarkt employee confirmed that the device I purchased was not a return, and that returned Ledgers are sent directly back to the manufacturer rather than resold.
Store records show the inventory originated from Aqipa GmbH. While Ledger's CTO was unsure if Aqipa serves as the direct distributor between Ledger and MediaMarkt, it appears to be the case. Given that Aqipa distributes across Europe, any physical retail store receiving stock through them may be at risk.
I sent the first ledger to mark and the second one is going to ledger now, so that they can analyse it.
If you purchased a ledger from anyone other than the official ledger store, make sure to check your device!!

We aren't using transparent zOrdinals and are not using testnet ZSA. This is on-chain and live using our own metaprotocol Heirloom 🍅🛡

Permanent on-chain @Zcash collectible.

Supply-chain attacks against hardware wallets aren't going away.
And that's something the entire crypto industry needs to take seriously.
Following the recent Ledger Nano X hardware implant research brought to public attention by @MagicalTux, I decided to investigate the attack myself.
Using an ESP32-S3, some basic electronics, and open-source tools, I was able to reproduce the display-bus interception concept and mirror my own Ledger Nano X screen onto another display.
The video shows my experimental reproduction.
What concerns me isn't just that information displayed by a hardware wallet can potentially be observed by an unauthorized hardware implant. It's how accessible the underlying techniques have become.
And this raises an even more interesting research question:
What if an implant didn't need to transmit stolen information at all?
Could a more sophisticated implant interfere with physical button inputs, manipulate user interactions, or exploit weaknesses in seed-generation workflows?
Could an attacker somehow cause a device to adopt a predictable recovery phrase without any external communication?
These are research hypotheses, NOT demonstrated attacks. Importantly, controlling the display or buttons alone does not mean an attacker can override the Secure Element's cryptographic randomness.
But they're questions worth investigating.
The lesson isn't that hardware wallets are useless, or that their manufacturers are malicious. Quite the opposite: many people in this industry have dedicated years to protecting users.
The problem is that security doesn't end at the Secure Element.
Manufacturing, distribution, logistics, hardware interfaces, firmware, physical access, and user verification all matter.
This is one of the reasons I'm building LeekWallet, an open-source, DIY hardware wallet designed around transparency, independent verification, accessible components, and user-controlled assembly.
I encourage everyone to do their own research, learn how their devices work, experiment responsibly, and consider building their own hardware wallets.
And please support open-source security projects. Independent research needs more than attention; it needs sustainable funding.
Special thanks to @MagicalTux for bringing this attack into the spotlight, and to @ETHGlobal and @thedaofund Security Fund for contributing to an ecosystem where independent builders and security researchers can thrive.
I'd also love to see more discussion around these issues from @ethereumfdn and @VitalikButerin.
If you believe open-source hardware security research matters, consider supporting LeekWallet through TheDAO Security Fund:

Don't trust. Verify. And whenever possible, build.

I'd also like to acknowledge @Ledger and @DonjonLedger. Protecting users against sophisticated hardware attacks is an incredibly difficult challenge, and the work security teams do deserves recognition.
This research isn't about blaming manufacturers or undermining trust in hardware wallets. It's about understanding where trust boundaries can fail, encouraging independent verification, and strengthening the entire ecosystem.
Security research should bring builders, manufacturers, and independent researchers together, not divide them.
Responsible disclosure, open research, and collaboration make everyone safer.

🚨 BREAKING 🚨
ATF Releases NFA guidance in response to the Texas NFA lawsuit:
"Effective October 9, 2026, ATF will no longer require individuals to seek ATF approval under the NFA before making or transferring short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns, silencers, and “any other weapon[s]” as defined in 26 U.S.C. § 5845(e). ATF will also no longer require such items to be registered in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record. These policies apply uniformly to anyone otherwise subject to these requirements, not just to the plaintiffs in the litigation."

🚀 Ord Dropz is opening the Shielded Launchpad, and the first official project after Naka will launch on the Shielded protocol.
Until now Nakas has been the only official collection on our indexer. That changes soon.
🔍 Fully transparent by design.
Every shielded collection starts with a parent inscription that carries the rules. Anyone can read it on chain, any time.
🔒 Once the parent is inscribed, the rules are set in stone.
The artist cannot change the mint price.
The artist cannot change the supply.
Nobody can.
🔢 Shielded numbering continues where Nakas left off.
Nakas holds #0 to #3332, the next collection picks up at #3333.
Still sub 10K shielded.
🎁 Wallet rewards are being prepared.
Nakas holders are the only ones receiving them. We are not opening this to any other project, so please don't ask.
🧪 We experiment.
Runinals put art and a bonded rune on one UTXO. We’re bringing privacy to ordinals with the Shielded Vault.
We will keep bringing the newest tech to the people who use our launchpad.
🛠️ Founder tools next.
When a collection mints out on the Launchpad, founders will be able to create its gallery on our secondary and send it straight to other marketplaces for faster listing.
We want to be the number one launchpad, and we look forward to working with other marketplaces to carry our launches after mint out.
More soon.
That time i worked at Marco's and there was an order for "Throat goat Noname"
And the dasher when picking up said "pickup for throat goat"
🤣🤣🤣
They need to stop microtaxing everything and just do a flat 15-20% on income only.
There should be a law that government shouldn't be able to tax anything more than 20%
We are literally all financially slaves
