Men really want a wife they can own, control and dictate terms to. Just because she's your wife doesn't mean her body belongs to you. If a woman wants a tattoo, what's your problem? Why do men expect women to live like puppets, moving only when they pull the strings? Do men want a wife or a woman with no opinions and no freedom of her own?

Remove arranged marriages from India and you’ll see how Indian men struggle to find a woman on their own. Most don’t even know how to talk to women properly yet their ego is through the roof. Without families finding them wives, a lot of them would have a hard time getting married at all.

Men are so jealous of women monetizing their sexuality, which is honestly hilarious considering they're the ones paying to access women's bodies. If men could make the same money selling their bodies, they'd be first in line. Imagine being both the customer and the biggest hypocrite in the room

No man is expected to abandon his education, distance himself from his friends or bury his dreams just because he got married. But women are expected to sacrifice their entire identity, ambitions and freedom to become someone’s wife. Men get a partner in marriage but women are expected to give up their entire lives to become one. And society has the audacity to call it tradition

Patriarchy is when women fast all day praying for their husbands’ long lives but men are never expected to do the same for their wives. If Karva Chauth is about love, Why does the sacrifice always seem to fall on women?
