Security researchers have warned that attackers are using Steam Workshop to spread malware through Wallpaper Engine wallpapers.
Some fake wallpapers are uploaded as “Application” wallpapers, which can run programs on your PC.
These files have been used to install malware, steal Steam accounts, collect personal information, and even mine cryptocurrency.
Some of the malicious wallpapers were downloaded thousands of times before being removed.
To stay safe:
>Download wallpapers only from creators you trust.
>Be extra careful with “Application” wallpapers.
>Scan Workshop files with up-to-date antivirus software.

We recently released Gemma 4, our most capable open models to date. Since then, they’ve been downloaded more than 150 million times. Here’s how three builders are using @GoogleGemma to create apps, platforms, and more.
First up: Builder @measure_plan, who used Gemma 4 to perform visual question answering (VQA) through a specific persona.
🔹By prompting Gemma 4 this way, the model effectively maintained a "medieval bard" character while accurately identifying objects in the room, like “glass of amber liquid” or “shelves with bound tomes.”

‼️ Chelsea have also been impressed with Joao Pedro's influence behind the scenes. He has acted as a mentor to young Brazilian pair Estevao Willian and Andrey Santos, having moved to England seven years ago to join Watford as a teenager.
He has also volunteered for media duties after difficult defeats and has helped bridge dressing‑room divides, befriending English, Spanish and French‑speaking team-mates.
