I CTO’d this because nobody else was stepping up. The previous dev/CTO team started manipulating the project and pushing phishing links through the DEX, so I stepped in and took over to protect the meme and the community.
I’m already in touch with Sling and will do everything I can to make this a smooth handover and ensure the community, socials and everything we’ve built are in good hands.

Hey PF team, you really need to consider adding a way to update the project links (X, Telegram, website, etc.) as a project evolves.
A common issue is that the original deployer abandons a project and may even delete the original socials/lore. When a community takes over and CTOs, the new team often has to rebuild everything from the ground up - new X, website, Telegram, community, etc.
While we can update the links on Dexscreener and those changes flow through to other trading terminals like GMGN, the links on the @Pumpfun app remain stuck with the original deployer.
This means anyone researching the token through Pumpfun has to leave the app and manually search for the new socials, website and community. That's a pretty significant friction point for legitimate CTOs.
I'm currently running the @theslingbull CTO, which was essentially abandoned by the original dev. We've rebuilt the project from scratch with a new X, a proper website and an active Telegram community. solana:EeB76LHyVZPMRvTpLcxJqqfSz4gg9f9XgsUmFybcpump is now trading around a $1M market cap, yet there is still no way to update the links shown on Pumpfun.
Giving CTO/community teams a way to claim or update the official project links after a takeover would be a huge improvement.
It would make research easier for users, reduce confusion around abandoned projects, and give legitimate community takeovers like Sling a much better chance to rebuild.
I genuinely think this would help a lot of projects on Pumpfun.
