Post-Op Appt with the Surgeon went better than expected! Pathology results showed NO cancer in the 24 lymph nodes that were removed! My "Stage 3" has been reclassified as Stage 2A! 🙏The tumor didn't go through the colon walls. I'm so relieved. Thank you all for the prayers.

Update: I'm still sore and having a few "issues" but my head is clear after getting off the opioids. I'm just using OTC meds the last few days and feel so much better. All 8 incisions are healing nicely. I thought I was supposed to have 7 but found an extra one. 🤪🤣

I want to thank everyone for the prayers and well wishes over the last week. Surgery was brutal but I'm BACK 😤 I'm still pretty sore and will be for a while. I'm adjusting to internal changes and might be for a few weeks but I finally feel like I'm going to be ok. 🙏
My niece brought me a balloon yesterday. 😏Surgery was rough but I made it through. They had me up and walking 4 hours after surgery. I'm still really sore but I'm hoping I might get to go home today. Thank you for all of your prayers.

Tomorrow is Prep Day. I'm going to be grumpy so I might stay off X. 😅 Nothing but clear liquids and laxatives all day. 😡 I'll get to the hospital for surgery at 9am Thursday. Surgery is scheduled for 11am-3pm. Prayers are appreciated, for myself, my family and my medical team.
😭😭😭 I just noticed water in the drain pan under my 15 year old water heater. Guess I'll be calling a plumber and spending more money I don't have. Between this and all of the unexpected medical bills I'm officially fed up with 2026. 😡👎😤
