Everyone can see that I trust Israel over a member of Congress who works with Socialist jihadists who are trying to not only undermine Israelโs sovereignty but, most importantly, America's.
You absolute loser.

This is a good thing. Humanities PhDs have been massively overproduced for a long time. It was irresponsible of universities to keep minting them, assuring their recipients, "There's always a place for good people in this field." There's not and there hasn't been for a long time.

For those who do not understand what this means, I want to pull out some highlights from a HPSCI briefing below to show you:
This was a session talking about inadequate vetting that now is unfortunately our burden to fix. Abdul wants you to ignore these facts, WE WILL NOT!
-There are now 18,000 known and suspected terrorists on U.S. soil.
-Approximately 190,000 Afghans were admitted even though there were gaps in available identity documentation and biometric information.
-An estimated 15โ20 million people entered our nation, most without proper vetting.
We have a serious problem. Pretending it doesnโt exist or making it worse wonโt solve it.

This is hilarious
this California wealth tax thing is just incredible.
so in October 2025, a California healthcare union proposed a "one time" 5% tax on any billionaire's wealth. the ballot measure will be voted on next month. In early December 2025, California announced that it would be a retroactive tax if passed, applying to anyone with CA residency as of Jan 1, 2026. The objective is to pay for Medi-Cal, California's incredibly dysfunctional healthcare system. (which also functions as a glorified welfare apparatus, but that's a discussion for another time).
polls reveal that the CA electorate is split around 50/50 on the tax, but prediction markets only give Prop 40 a ~23% chance of passing (there are competing measures on the ballet that would nullify it).
there are 200 billionaires in CA, worth collectively somewhere between $2.3 and $2.6 trillion. 5% of that is around $100b, accounting for a small amount of attrition. proponents of the tax forecasted a significant windfall, assuming only a 10% departure rate.
supporters thought they were being clever with the retroactive concept. no billionares would leave CA in the few short months between the tax being proposed and the residency cutoff date, without the tax even having passed yet, right?
well as it turns out, they did.
a new paper [1] from two academics at Stanford called "The Net Present Value of the California Billionaire Tax Act", argues that not only did more billionaires leave due to the proposed tax than its proponents expected, but that the value of the tax, if it does pass, is actually negative.
proponents of the tax only assumed 10% avoidance, that is, only 10% of the taxable base of targeted billionaires would leave CA within the very short Oct-Dec 2025 window. Jaros and Rauh, the Stanford academics, find that a lower bound of 28.6% of the taxable base managed to leave.
just based on known departures, those departures total $577b in net worth, or $28.8b in potential tax lost. this of course does not capture everyone (many left without announcing their departure), so the authors normalize to departure rates estimated from other wealth tax events, and apply other discounts for litigation, arriving arrive at a figure of only $28-$36b in forecasted tax revenues.
but this isn't all! all of the income taxes paid by the departed billionaires are also forsaken. the authors estimate that CA billionaires pay $3.3- 5.8b in annual income taxes. they assume a midpoint of $2b lost in annual collections from departed billionaires. the net present value of that lost income stream is -$68.9 billion.
so when you add it all up you get:
+ $30b one-time tax windfall (estimated)
- $69b in present value of lost future income taxes
= - 38.9b overall net present value of the tax
of course, this analysis is highly estimate driven. the authors simulate the parameters 100k times and find a negative NPV of the implemented tax 85 percent of the time.
and if the tax doesn't pass, which it's not looking like it will, California still ended up losing at least $577b in departed net worth, and they have permanently poisoned the well with entrepreneurs who will now worry about future wealth taxes.

Vance is a habitual liar. It is the signature characteristic of liberals. They are wrong about everything so they feel compelled to lie about everything. Vance expressed great admiration for Obama who is the only human ever documented to lie more than 100% of the time.

I used to be a moderate and would vote for Democrats, Republicans, and sometimes Independent candidates.
I spent years giving the Democratic Party the benefit of the doubt.
But eventually the evidence against the Democratic base and their unwillingness to condemn and ostracize their far left branch, became too strong to ignore.
This election I will vote straight red.
This is what you say when you've never read a history book

๐จ NEW: For the @WSJ, @Hartz_PhD and I expose the ideological takeover of the American Psychological Association.
The APA is facing the possible loss of its federal accreditation authority following allegations of widespread antisemitism.
But while the APA's antisemitism problem is serious, it's only a symptom of a much deeper ideological rot.
The organization has become so captured by radical left-wing political activism that its commitment to scientific objectivity competence is now in serious doubt.
We examined the program for this year's major APA Division 39 conference, which drew nearly 800 attendees and held 90 panels over four days.
By our count, roughly 70 of the 90 panels were overtly political, and always left-wing. Topics included abolishing the family, queer anarchist psychoanalysis, dismantling gender assessment guidelines, and white supremacy. One session even concluded with a drag show.
There was at least some hope that the threat of losing federal accreditation might prompt some institutional soul-searching. It didn't.
Instead, APA members just elected Candice Hargons as their next president. Her campaign identifies "systemic intersectional oppression" as the profession's "common enemy" and calls for rejecting the traditional scientific notions of objectivity.
Psychologists wield enormous influence over vulnerable patients, and the people seeking treatment deserve the peace of mind knowing that the care they're receiving care is evidence based and not tainted radical politics.
We believe most would agree that federal accreditation should actually mean something. If the APA cannot distinguish its scientific mission from its political activism, the Education Department should reconsider whether it deserves the government's endorsement as an authority over psychological training.

The US has the oldest continuously functioning written Constitution on Earth. It survived civil war and I believe it can survive Trump's corruption, nepotism, and assaults. What I'm not sure it can survive is his successors. Even if the next president is Ossoff, let alone AOC, we're not going to see a return to proceduralism. Instead, a D president will seize upon the extra-constitutional powers Trump granted himself and wield them under the pretext that doing so is required to fix what Trump broke. Friends will be rewarded and enemies attacked on a scale never seen. There's already a strong movement among Democratic constitutional theorists calling for the wholesale rewriting of the Constitution to reflect progressive ideology. Expect the next D president to act as if that's a fait accompli. And this isn't even to contemplate what an illiberal authoritarian like Vance or God forbid one of Trump's cretinous spawn would do. In short, Trump himself is survivable, but I worry that the implicit theory of executive power that his actions spell out may not be.

Breaking: For the first time, Prime Minister Netanyahu openly acknowledges the possibility of a breakdown in the U.S.โIsrael alliance and suggests forging alternative alliances, including with India.
โIn two years, a president - man or woman -who is extremely hostile to Israel could come to power. How will you deal with that? How will you operate vis-ร -vis the United States? And beyond that, what are the necessary solutions?โ
Netanyahu, who did not assume responsibility for the current state of relations with the United States, continued:
โFirst of all, we must do everything in our power during these two years, and in the two years that follow, to engage with the American arena, through good times and bad. The second thing is to forge other alliances. That is what I am working on now with many countries in our region, as well as countries outside our region. India is no small country, and there are many other countries as well....โThere is a major shift taking place in Latin America, and there may be an enormous change in Brazil in just a few days. We must expand our network of alliances and develop capabilities that make us a valuable asset to everyone.โ

The riots in France in October of 2026 are to the USA in 2028
what
the Italian invasion of Ethiopia in 1935 was to global war in 1941.
In other words, a mere harbinger of what is to come.
The Left has death and destruction planned as their way to seize and hold power.
Not sure this matters. 2/3 of Israelis think Trump is bad for Israel now.
And I have to agree
