Eras of Internet discourse (I have seen). Era 1, “The Atheist Wars”, 2007-2013 Contention: “Can Christian believers justify their religion?” Belligerents: largely young Millennial atheists vs clueless Boomer Christians Conclusion: Christians showed some justifications for their beliefs, but their beliefs couldn’t be justified under the assumption of materialism. However, there were serious abstract problems with materialism. Also, Practically, Materialism could not justify any moral system, so most other beliefs that atheists cherished were equally debunked by their assumption. Atheists declared victory, but lost functionally since their point was facile. Era 2, “The SJW Wars”, 2014-2020 Contention: “Should Western Culture be Remade to Better Embody the Progressive Values of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion?” Belligerents: Millennial progressive (SJWs) vs Millennial anti-progressives Conclusion: While DEI values were pushed by moderate PMC institutions, these ideas were exposed as inconsistent with ordinarily Western morality and incoherent in any framework that didn’t assume a radically egalitarian and hedonistic value system. As a result, many progressives admitted that their ideology was radically revolutionary or an extension of some ethnic revenge project. Anti-progressives learned that hostile anti-Western assumptions had been built into the establishment institutions of their countries, and started looking to the problems of liberalism as a vector of corruption. Era 3 - “The liberal Wars” 2021-2026 Contention: “Do the assumptions of 20th century liberalism (post-Civil Rights) lead directly to DEI?” Belligerents: Right Millennials Post-liberals vs Liberal Conservative GenX Boomers Conclusion (projected): The post liberals win almost every abstract question about history and the nature of politics. They have answers for the critical questions like identity, morality and loyalty. They win the hearts and minds of the young. However liberal conservatives Gen Xers will refuse to cooperate and sabotage the debate by kicking the ball into the high grass and then trying to lock young people out of institutions. Thus there will be a stalemate where the old guard is playing for time but still has no victory condition, while the young people scramble to organize and build alternative institutions. So what’s the next discourse war? Hard to say. All establishment institutions (left or right)have “lost” the discourse and have no reason to debate. While the younger cohort’s challenge now concerns building and organizing. There is discourse on how we accomplish that and how we put to bed futile battles (eg the gender war), but those questions are subtle and academic and don’t really fit into the ideas of Internet discourse.

This is Boomer. You don't get women by just hanging out doing her hobbies (which you probably find boring) and then lavishing her with flowers and expensive dinner reservations on the first date. Never BRIBE women with attention and resources to EARN dates. That's a way to look weak and go broke if modern women start seeing you as a meal ticket. Here's a better plan: 1. STOP SIMPING; do not chase the shadow of women who you desire but can't have. Build masculine self-worth outside the female form. 2. FIND FRIENDS; male friends, guys who will have your back and call you on your shit. Remember, the things men playfully mock each other over largely resemble the things women call "ICKS" (non-masculine behavior). Build your confidence inside this group of friends. 3. FIND A CAUSE / SPORT; get something that you are good at, or that you can fight for. Get wins, victories, best rivals, build a story around yourself as a fighter, a winner, a protector of what is YOURS. 4. DECIDE WHAT YOU WANT; focus on a specific social community and a specific set of girls you see as candidates. 5. START LOOKING IN A LIMITED ENVIRONMENT; find prospects socially IRL in places likely to contain the types of women you want, OR on a dating app that limits its user base. Yes, this cuts down the total number of women, but the women there will be LESS likely to be in a "rejection mindset. Look for women in the places where they are least used to saying "No" to men. 6. DATE DECISIVELY; once you find a girl signaling some interest, come out with proposals for dates with times and places. Do NOT text back too quickly, but when you propose, BE SPECIFIC. Choose an affordable location. Propose dates twice, and only twice. Two "Nos" mean she isn't interested. 7. BEGIN WITH BANTS; show up to the date smiling, casual, jokular, ready to have a good time. DO NOT bring flowers or assumptions about where this is going. You are here to have a good time. Your guy friends should have taught you how to banter. Tell jokes and recall humorous stories; see if she laughs; watch her attention. REFUSE ALL job interview questions. REFUSE ALL political questions. If she asks, deflect and act like she is spoiling your fun(SHE IS!). Look for smiles and interest. If she persists with the ice queen routine and doesn't stop with the "job interview" questions, then find the soonest possible way to terminate the date; she is not interested in you. 8. SHOW HER YOUR BEST SELF; after she starts smiling, laughing at your jokes, and opening up a little bit, ask her about what she likes (this doesn't matter) so that she then returns the question and asks you about what YOU LIKE (this does matter). Use this question to highlight what you think is most impressive about you, or share a story about a "win" you had. Keep this cycle of exchanging stories and information going, and then return to BANTS and jokes to close out the evening. 9. CONTINUE AFTER EVALUATION; After the date, you should have a pretty good idea if you "won the girl over." A good test is the "bird test": when you talk to this girl about something that is ordinarily not funny or interesting, does she suddenly take interest, even laugh at unfunny things? That means she likes you. But now the ball is in your court: how much do you like this girl? Are you gunning for marriage? Continue dating in the same way as before, but turn down the performativity and show more sincerity and vulnerability. Try some jokey, practical humor that might otherwise be a bit offensive. If the girl keeps on showing interest, you have a keeper. If you think she's wife material, then you are ready for courtship. 10. BEGIN COURTSHIP; This is where you can give her the Boomer Romance. You know she's keen. You know she's a keeper. Let's see if magic happens. Flowers and expensive dates are good here. If it works, formalize it, and you are no longer "single"; if things keep working out, you have a path toward marriage. Just be aware that shit tests are always a thing, so it's ok to be comfortable but not TOO comfortable. This is what works (at least in the late 2010s); maybe it's a little out of date, but I don't think so. At a minimum, it's better than Boomer advice.

Voters don’t decide on things, they are led in directions by their leaders, media, and education. If you have a problem with what happened, start with who INFLUENCED the voters, don’t attribute agency to blocks of millions of people.
