I can only imagined the pressure if I had not started sorting vendors since 4 months ago.
My biggest event😲. I can't believe the amount spent already🤦♀️86% of budget sorted. The plan is not to owe any vendor before the event day🤟 #Aare40

Nigerian extended family meetings will show you premium madness. 😭
My dad was just fined ₦50,000 by the family for giving "wicked advice," and I can't even stop laughing.
Gather around for this story.
My dad’s cousin has an only daughter (20 years old). She travelled from Lagos to Calabar to visit her aunt. Because of crazy traffic, she didn't get to Calabar until 1:00 AM.
She called her aunt multiple times, but she didn't pick up.
A 20-year-old girl in a strange city at night. She managed to find her way to the house by 1:30 AM and knocked on the gate. Her aunt actually came out to the gate, but refused to open it.
Her reason? "It is too late. And she has principles in her house. And she also said ,What if thieves followed you? I have to protect my own family."
The girl was crying, begging that she didn't know anyone and desperately needed to use the toilet. Her aunt told her to go look for a hotel in the middle of the night, turned her back, and went inside to sleep.
By pure luck, a soldier returning home saw the girl stranded and crying at the gate. He took pity on her and gave her a place to stay for the night.
The next morning, the girl charged her phone and called her father to explain what happened.
Her father didn't shout. He didn't fight. He just silently stopped the monthly allowance he had been sending to his sister (the aunt), and immediately stopped paying her three children's school fees.
The extended family called an emergency meeting. They said the man was being "too harsh" on his sister.
The man was frustrated, so he called my dad to vent. My dad listened to the whole story and told him: "You are actually being too soft. Evict her and her husband from that house in Calabar. After all, you are the one who built it!"
Yes. The house the aunt locked the 20-year-old girl out of actually belongs to the girl's father! 💀
When the extended family heard the advice my dad gave, they paused the original case, dragged my dad into the matter, and fined him ₦50,000 for "escalating the issue and bringing wicked ideas." 😂

My brother Bashir, didn’t you see the disturbing video of a man from Kaduna kidnapped alongside his wife and their 3-month-old baby, with terrorists demanding a ₦300 million ransom?
This is happening in your country and your region. Channel this energy into condemning the crisis and demanding that Bola Tinubu’s government end the insecurity at your doorstep, instead of focusing only on the war between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis while your home faces a greater threat.
This disturbing video documents yesterday’s attack on Riyadh Airport in Saudi Arabia, unfortunately some of the victims were Umrah pilgrims at the airport.
The targeting of civilians and innocent travellers, particularly pilgrims undertaking a sacred religious journey, is utterly reprehensible and deserves the strongest possible condemnation.
Such acts of violence have no justification whatsoever.

Osimhen changed Lerry’s life.
Osimhen changed Tife’s life.
He linked Carter Efe with Antonio Rüdiger.
He invited Bernesse to Turkey to watch Galatasaray live.
He linked Kombo and Cali Sports with Lamine Yamal.
in a world where footballers are treated like gods and are almost impossible to reach, Victor Osimhen remains humble, accessible and supportive of african creators.
He is 1 of 1, such a blessing!

I was getting food with a lady. When we were done, she went to the loo & I asked the waitress for the bill. With shock and disbelief, he said “you’re paying???”
I nodded and started transferring but before I finished, she came back & gave him her card.
he said with relief, “Ehnehn, why will you pay?”
All of us burst out laughing. 😂😂

No, a woman cannot stand naked in front of a man without his consent. That is sexual harassment, and depending on the circumstances, it could also amount to public nuisance.
When you people engage in hypothetical arguments, try to be reasonable about it. Stop placing two crimes side by side and attempting to justify or condemn one while conveniently ignoring the fact that the foundation of the entire argument is criminal in itself.
Yes, a woman can stand infront of a man naked, The man has no right to violate her..
So yes, the feminist was totally right on that aspect..
But ladies, its not a gate way for you to start going naked all because you know a man has no right to touch you..
My mother will always say " if you know what will cause problems for you, avoid it and don't bring it close to yourself.
Since you know doing this may bring trouble, why not dress decent then?
To men:
As a man, you have no right to harass a woman all because she was naked before you..
You have no right to sexualise her or abuse her, the only right you have is to control yourself and walk away right from there..
You may think it's your right untill you find yourself in jail..
So yes, no man has no right to touch a woman because of what she's wearing.
That being said, it's also not an encouragement to you ladies to start dressing naked.

As a civil engineer, you are a very dishonest person and people like you are dangerous.
Nobody is disputing anything you tweeted. The point is that none of what you pointed out was discovered yesterday or last week.
This issues have been there for years.
You want to tell me that no one in the Ministry of works saw all this for a billion dollar project until last week or what?.
The man at the helm of affairs was asked if a study was conducted on national TV and he ridiculed the journalist.
So spare us this professional jargon biko. Na the construction all of us gather dey.
As a civil engineer, I find it surprising that people who have no engineering training will boldly fault engineering design decisions without understanding the background reason.
The real question any critic should ask is: are the reasons behind this design change genuine?
You are laughing with emojis because you are looking at a mega-infrastructure project through the lens of a tailor.
A road route is not drawn in permanent ink. The diversion of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway from the immediate shoreline is not a mistake; it is a calculated decision based on very practical realities.
First, the original route directly clashed with the landing stations of Nigeria's international submarine cables. Building over them would mean risking a massive internet and telecommunications blackout for the entire country.
Second, sticking strictly to the old coastal line meant the government would have to destroy multi-billion Naira investments, established resorts, and ancestral communities. One of them is Okun-Ajah.
Therefore, diverting the road slightly inland saves the government billions in compensation and protects people's homes and livelihoods.
Again, one thing we must not forget is that the Atlantic Ocean is aggressive. Because of severe coastal erosion, building a permanent highway right on the water's edge is dangerous.
As such, moving the road inward creates a safe buffer against ocean surges so the highway does not wash away in a few years.
Anything outside of this is a political talk. And I am not interested in that.
Engineering is about solving real-world problems. So next time, before you laugh at a structural diversion, understand the facts driving it.
