The XRPL’s Deposit Authorization lets accounts control who can send funds to them.
Previously, users could only whitelist specific addresses. Now, instead of manually approving each sender, an account can now require credentials (e.g., KYC verification) before allowing incoming transactions.
This ensures compliance at the protocol level, without revealing personal data.

What are Credentials?
Credentials are a new ledger object that allows for issuing, accepting, revoking, and using credentials - all on the XRPL, and without exposing any personal data.
