First stop on the Better Call Paul Salvadoran Cuisine tour: @ehebbq. We are assembling a collection of El Salvador’s best cowboy food for the inaugural Renaissance @rodeo_sv next month, as well as showcasing the best of what this country has to offer. Enjoy, bon appétit, buen provecho! 🇸🇻
Imagine a world where parents could depend on their own children to take care of them rather than the government.

Some recent talk about boomers on here makes me want to do an unscientific survey. I want to get an idea about boomer attitudes and how typical or atypical I am.
Please sort yourselves into one of the following categories:
A: I'm a boomer. I think I'm entitled to an annuity based on my income before I die.
B: I'm a boomer. I would settle for getting the money I paid in back out in inflation adjusted dollars.
C: I'm a boomer. I think Social Security was a terrible idea, is unsustainable, and I'd be willing to see it shut down right now even though it means I won't collect anything, so it isn't a burden on future generations.
D: I'm not a boomer.
I'm in category C, shut it down.

You need to be lore-maxxing. Taking risks. Failing miserably. Relentlessly strategizing and experimenting. Nobody wants to die with a story that isn't worth telling.
Social Security has done more damage to the parent and adult child relationship in America than any else.

Parents need to understand that their children will be the only ones to take care of them when their old and treat them accordingly.
The government took on this responsibility and now most people don't want children and the ones who do can afford to let the relationship languish
