Grand #rubbish day out. AM out on the A38 picking up shredded #litter. 543 items bagged up from 2 km of verge. PM a open afternoon for litterpickers at #Ubico recycling yard #Gloucester. Huge quantities of trash & eye-opener of sheer scale of waste processing. Soo much #plastic!

4 of the 6 bags I collected yesterday here in Aldridge town centre, I found a couple of pillows ripped up & spread down an alley the foxes had messed on them and they stunk. Bagged them up & fortunately a passing council truck collected them, saving my car from the smell. Lucky!

Ropes, ropes, ropes. One of the most harmful -and common- kinds of marine trash. We always find plenty of them. We got these away from the coastline. But there’s plenty more of them out there. If you ever see one, pick it up, it could save a life!

Fashion trends may have changed dramatically over the years! But the quality & classic design of Victor Rotary machines hasn't. Look at this Europa 400 in action on safety flooring, expertly handled by Teresa Smith, one of Victor’s employees in the 90s. #ThrowbackThursday

Every walk’s an opportunity to make a difference. All it takes is the will & a couple of minutes of your time. Don’t walk by. It might not be our #litter but it’s our responsibility to protect animals & the #environment ❤️🐾 #dogsofx #greatbritishbeachclean #ScotClimateWeek

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of visiting Don to replace his trusty litter picker and deliver more bags for his amazing efforts in keeping our community clean. Don is out litter picking every day, averaging 3 bags. #adoptastreet #volunteersmakeadifference #Sandwell

Cigarette butts are rubbish. However, bins aren't always there when you need them. That's why we're making sure that if you can't bin your butt, you can box it. If you smoke, order a Butt Box and help keep litter off the ground. keepbritaintidy.org/smoking-… youtu.be/jgwvjdUzgmU
