The Risk Nobody Talks About: Selling Too Early The biggest investing mistake I’ve ever seen wasn’t buying a terrible company. It wasn’t using too much leverage. It wasn’t panic-selling during a market crash. It was selling a great company too early. Most investors spend their entire careers worrying about how much money they could lose. Far fewer think about how much money they could miss. Yet for long-term investors, the biggest financial mistakes often come not from holding losers too long, but from abandoning winners too soon. That’s why #RiskManagement isn’t just about protecting yourself from the downside. It’s also about protecting yourself from the upside. In 2018, Bitcoin started its final descent from $6,000 to $3,130 in early November. In 2022, Bitcoin started its final descent from $21,500 to $15,500 in early November. In 2026, Bitcoin’s trading around $80,000 heading into early November. Soooo… what’s next? 🤔

The Market's Perfect Storm: Oil, Iran, and AI Collide One moment investors were celebrating another round of #AI-driven growth. The next, they were grappling with triple-digit oil prices, escalating Middle East tensions, and fresh concerns about whether the biggest technology companies are spending too much, too fast. The result was a turbulent week for markets, with sharp swings in sentiment as traders weighed geopolitical risks against the long-term promise of #ArtificialIntelligence. While bulls argued the pullback was healthy and temporary, bears pointed to growing economic and financial headwinds. Bitcoin's Next Big Move Could Be Violent, But Which Direction? #Bitcoin’s price action seemed to go bullish when it made a higher weekly-high at $84,856.07 on Wednesday only for Big Orange to roll over completely when the stock market pulled back on Thursday, finding support right on the 100-Day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) at $80,789.61. Long story short, my perspective remains unchanged on bitcoin:native: it really needs to break out from this range for me to feel more confident. $CCJ #Cameco (#CCJ) got hit when the rest of the market sold off toward the end of the month with its stock triggering my next buy order on Friday, October 23, adding 2.96% to my Pandemic Portfolio position at $77.80. The buy locked in a -38.52% discount replacing some of the shares I sold for $126.54 on January 26, 2026 and raised my per-share cost +47.47% from $10.85 to $16.00. There is no question #NuclearEnergy is a critical priority for the entire world if we ever want to supply the power we need for the #AI data center buildout so I have complete confidence in Cameco as a long-term investment. That being said, there’s no reason the sector can’t sell off more, so my next buy target is $69.20, above a level of support CCJ last tested in August 2025. My next sell target is $130.95, a bit below Cameco’s all-time high beneath a level of resistance the stock tested earlier this year in April.

$RIVN Hated EV-maker, Rivian (RIVN), gapped down at the open on Friday when the marketwide selloff continued, triggering my next buy order which added 4.62% to my Investments in Play portfolio’s position at $11.66. The buy lowered my per-share cost -5.08% from $22.65 to $21.50. There are many in the investing world who think Rivian is a lost cause, but I still believe the company makes excellent vehicles, and, over time, will increase efficiency to the point where it will become a very profitable company in the future. That being said, my next buy is never my last buy so my next buy target is $9.60, above a level of support Rivian hasn’t seen in nearly two years, last tested in November 2024. Additionally, I will start trimming my position pretty quickly, too, with my next sell target at $22.51, just below the next resistance level above my cost basis.

$USAR The market selloff which started on Thursday continued to drag down all of the most speculative names including #USARareEarth (#USAR) which triggered my next buy order, adding 8.36% to the position in my Speculation in Play Portfolio at $9.42. The buy lowered my per-share cost -7.46% from $13.40 to $12.40. There’s no question that rare earth metals are critical to the United States’ supply chain, but USAR is an incredibly volatile stock; any buying plan needs to take that extreme volatility into account. Accordingly, my next buy target is $8.00, right at a level of support USA Rare Earth last tested in May 2025. Additionally, given its aforementioned volatility, I will start trimming the position at $18.69, just under a level of resistance below USAR’s high from this past August.

$BTQ Hyper-speculative name, #BTQTechnologies (#BTQ), broke down to new lows when the rest of the market gapped down at the open on Thursday, triggering my next buy order which added 10.05% to my Speculation in Play portfolio’s position at $2.10. The buy locked in a -64.65% discount replacing the remainder of the shares I sold at $5.94 on June 17 and lowered my per-share cost -11.46% from $4.80 to $4.25. From here, my next buy target is $1.45, above a level of support BTQ last tested during the Tariff Tantrum in April 2025, and my next sell target is $5.55, just below a level of potential resistance above my new cost basis that BTQ last tested in June.

$KWEB Chinese technology stocks have been getting pounded ever since they reached their recent high in late 2025 and Thursday’s selloff sent them to their lowest prices of 2026, triggering the next buy order in my Speculation in Play portfolio along the way. My buy order in #KraneShares #ChinaInternetETF (#KWEB) filled at $22.93, adding 9.97% to my position and lowering my per-share cost -0.59% from $23.80 to $23.66. Chinese stocks are as cyclical as they come - everybody loves them at the same time and everyone hates them at the same time. So - and it’s not a much of a trick - the trick is to just do the opposite of the crowd: add when they’re hated and trim when they’re loved. Naturally, we are talking about a communist country which is why I don’t buy individual names - you never know when Dictator Xi will decide your company is a “state-owned enterprise” - but participating in the ETFs certainly offers the opportunity to take advantage of this cyclicality. From here, my next buy order is $20.75, above a key low KWEB made during the Bear Market in March 2022, and my next sell target is $37.53, just under a point of resistance KWEB has regularly tested throughout the past.

$TAN The #AlternativeEnergy sector continues to experience weakness with the #InvescoSolarETF (#TAN) selling off to trigger the next buy order in my End-of-the-World Portfolio, adding 3.83% to my position at $40.78 on Tuesday. The buy locked in a -32.95% discount on shares I sold for $60.82 on May 5, 2026 and lowered my per-share cost -1.45% from $55.25 to $54.45. With the raise of #AI data centers making energy needs a paramount priority globally, there is no question we will need all energy sources - fossil fuels, alternative, and nuclear - going forward, so I continue to believe in solar energy as a long-term investing thesis. That being said, the weakness could continue so I am prepared to add at $31.81, above a level of support the Invesco Solar ETF last tested in June 2025. Additionally, given the volatility of the sector, I will also start trimming regularly with my next sell target at $63.85, just below a level of resistance TAN tested in June 2026.

$GLAS The utter freefall in cannabis stocks continued on Monday despite the relief rally occurring in much of the rest of the market with #GlassHouse (#GLAS), the brand-new position in my Speculation in Play portfolio, triggering three more buys - my 3rd, 4th and 5th buys ($2.94, 2.16 and $1.79) - in just 2 weeks on Monday a total 27.35% allocation add at an average price $2.16. The buys lowered my per-share cost -28.21% from $3.90 to $2.80. The known insane volatility in the cannabis sector was precisely the reason I’m using very small allocation purchases to build this position as it falls off the cliff. While I do believe in Glass House for the long term, there’s no question this selling pressure could continue from here despite GLAS now at all-time lows. As a result, my next buy target is $1.00, just above that key psychological round-number support. My next sell target is $5.10, just under the resistance level above my cost basis which Glass House last saw earlier in October.

Energy Dominates, Cybersecurity Craters, and Dumb Money Laughs Again What a week! The S&P 500 dropped, volatility spiked, and my three ETF portfolios delivered three completely different storylines. My Flagship ETF Portfolio finally behaved like a proper risk‑managed strategy, losing less than the benchmark. My Dumb Money Portfolio continued its yearlong victory lap, outperforming the benchmark even while taking hits. And my End‑of‑the‑World Portfolio? It got smacked… hard… thanks to a brutal selloff in cybersecurity and uranium juniors. Add in a fresh buy on $WGMI, a tactical nibble on $URNJ, and a reshuffling of top performers across all three portfolios, and you’ve got a week that proves one thing: ETF investing isn’t boring. Not even close. The Bear Market You Invented in Your Head Stop calling it a "Bear Market" just because YOUR stocks are down. Every time the market hiccups, social media erupts into chaos. Investors scream that we’re “in a bear market,” timelines fill with panic, and people start acting like the financial world is ending. Meanwhile, the actual market? The S&P 500 is down less than -2.50% from all‑time highs. The Nasdaq is down less than -5.75% from all‑time highs. Umm… what? That’s not a correction. That’s not a bear market. That’s barely a speed bump. So why are investors losing their cheese all over social media? Oil, War, and Inflation: The Three Forces Reshaping Markets Ahead of the Midterms The #StockMarket opened the week under a barrage of geopolitical shocks and inflation surprises as the White House’s controversial move to lift sanctions on Russian diesel and a dramatic Iranian attack in the Strait of Hormuz collided to rattle investor confidence. The situation didn't improve as the week continued as diesel prices kept climbing despite the policy shift, inflation accelerated on the back of surging energy costs, and Iran’s sinking of a Singapore‑flagged container ship reignited fears that the conflict could escalate further. By Thursday, wholesale inflation confirmed the trend, leaving markets on edge and analysts increasingly convinced the Federal Reserve may have little choice but to tighten policy again. $GLAS The selling remained relentless in #cannabis all week and even picked up steam on Friday when #GlassHouse (#GLAS) fell below my second buy target - two buys in a week - which added 4.46% to my position at $3.43. The buy lowered my per-share cost -2.50% from $4.00 to $3.90. From here, my next buy target is $2.94, above a level of support GLAS hasn’t tested since August 2023, and my next sell target is $5.49, just under Glass House’s most recent resistance level above my cost basis.

Yes, Bitcoin Broke Down, But the Price Action Still Shows a Path Forward #Bitcoin set a much lower weekly high at $84,261.99 on Monday (last week’s high was $86,996.00) before the equity market had a bit of a fallout and caused bitcoin:native to drop on Wednesday evening. Bitcoin broke through last week’s low of $80,314.70, creating a lower weekly-low at $79,676.02 on Thursday before bouncing. To make matters worse, Bitcoin continues to struggle to flip my Next Support of Last Resort trendline (in blue) from resistance into support once again. While there are no promises, of course, typically when Bitcoin falls below the Next Support of Last Resort and can’t flip it back, it’s a signal of a much more significant pullback ahead. $WGMI The long knives have come out for anything to do with AI or Bitcoin mining which means the CoinShares #BitcoinMining and #DigitalPower ETF (#WGMI) took some heat on Thursday, gapping down at the open. WGMI triggered my next buy order which added 8.29% to my Flagship ETF Portfolio’s position at $31.95. The buy locked in a -52.59% discount replacing some of the shares I sold for $67.39 on May 27, 2026 and raised my per-share “cost” +15.84% from -$34.60 to -$29.12 (a negative per-share cost indicates all capital has been removed in addition to $29.12 per share added to the portfolio’s bottom line in addition to each share’s current value). Since I took all risk capital and quite a bit of profits out of this position long ago, I have no problem putting the profits back to work as I believe there is plenty of volatility to both the downside and upside left in this name. My next buy target is $23.04, right above the support level the ETF made back in August 2025. My next sell target is $76.52, just under WGMI’s all-time high.

$RKLB The market continued to pound every speculative name out there regardless of its sector on Thursday. Next up was #RocketLab (#RKLB) which gapped down at the open and triggered my next buy order, adding 3.67% to my flagship Investments in Play portfolio’s position at $54.01. The buy lowered my per-share cost -1.73% from $64.00 to $62.89. There’s no question that space is going to be a huge investing theme into the future, but the time between when it’s speculative and when it’s a sure thing is going to be incredibly volatile. Accordingly, I will continue to make small buys as it sells off with my next buy target is $46.49, above a level of support Rocket Lab last tested in December 2025. Also, given this name’s volatility, I will start to trim at $78.02, just under RKLB’s recent high from early October.
