CodeGraph 1.6.2 is out.
Far fewer wrong links in every language: calls, imports and types now resolve the way each language scopes names, so "who calls this?" lands on your code, not a lookalike.
Windows: no more terminal windows popping up.

CodeGraph 1.6.1 is out:
- Explore returns the exact functions you name, even in huge files
- Routes, links and fetch() calls are in the graph (Next.js, Expo, React Router, Vue, SvelteKit)
- Every hop shows the condition it runs under
- ~150 fixes

CodeGraph 1.6 is out 🤖
🐙 GitHub Copilot supported — VS Code, Copilot CLI, JetBrains
🎯 Sharper answers — explore stops repeating source it already showed, and files you name by path always come back
🧬 Graphs stop drifting — replaying 80 commits used to leave 5.7% of edges wrong, now 1.3%

Started using CodeGraph yesterday and I'm surprised I didn't start using it earlier.
Token usage has gone down massively, and quality has gone up, no more blast radius issues.
I strongly advice you give it a go!!
CodeGraph 1.5 is out ⚡
🦀 Parsing engine rewritten in Rust — 20 languages, byte-identical graphs
💾 Near-instant sync — a save hits the graph in <1s, even on 27,000-file repos
📊 Indexing up to 2× faster — the Linux kernel on a 2-core VPS in under 12 min
codegraph upgrade
🚀 CodeGraph 1.3.1 is out!
indexing now handles any-size codebases. The Linux kernel — 2M symbols, 6.4M edges — indexes in 27 min on a 2-core/6GB machine.
The "killed at 98%" bug is gone at the root, not patched around.
npm i -g colbymchenry/codegraph
CodeGraph 1.3.0 — 10 new languages join the graph:
Nix · Terraform · CUDA · Solidity · Erlang · COBOL · VB.NET · CFML · ArkTS · Metal
Plus Unreal Engine C++ reflection support and a ~35× faster index on large Spring monorepos.
100% local, open source.

CodeGraph 1.1.3 — a correctness & coverage release:
• Stacked & nested git repos (gitlinks, submodules) now index completely
• C++: templated-base inheritance + stack-allocated construction tracked
• CLI: honest explore counts, no bogus query %, node -f file reads
• Duplicate graph edges removed → cleaner impact/callers
• Clean Windows daemon shutdown
• Android: skips 0-symbol resource XML (one app: 27k → ~640 files)
npm i -g Colbymchenry/codegraph
CodeGraph 1.1.2 is out.
The code-intelligence MCP server for your AI agent now:
• works in Cursor's Ask mode
• indexes across all your CPU cores
• won't time out when a swarm of subagents hits it at once
- Swift computed properties & more

codegraph 1.1.0 is out 🚀
The big one: your coding agent now reaches for codegraph more often. In Claude Code, ask "how does X work?" and it auto-pulls the real code + call paths into context — instead of grepping around to rebuild them.
Also shipped:
• Traces dispatch through Celery, Spring, MediatR, Sidekiq & Laravel
• Vue (Pinia/Vuex), RTK Query & React component flows
• GoFrame routes, C/C++ function-pointer dispatch, Java Lombok
• Monorepo / multi-project MCP support
• Much faster indexing on large repos
🎉 CodeGraph 1.0.1 is out — mostly a reliability + polish pass.
Headline fix: nested git worktrees (the .claude/worktrees/ Claude Code makes — but any worktree) were getting indexed as duplicate copies of your whole repo. One project went from ~1,850 files to 24,500, with search and explore drowning in stale duplicates. CodeGraph now detects worktrees and skips them automatically.
Also in 1.0.1:
• Cross-file static method calls — Class.staticMethod() — now resolve, so callers/impact actually find them
• The MCP server self-heals instead of pinning a CPU core at 100%
• codegraph affected takes ./ and absolute paths
• New codegraph daemon to wrangle background servers

THE BIGGEST CLAUDE CODE BOTTLENECK ISN'T THE MODEL. IT'S THE TOKENS YOU WASTE.
You can cut Claude Code token usage by up to 90% with 4 simple optimizations:
→ Index your codebase with CodeGraph
→ Compress logs and outputs with RTK
→ Reduce response verbosity with Caveman
→ Manage context better using /clear, /context, and model switching
The catch?
Every optimization comes with tradeoffs:
→ Code indexes can become stale
→ Compressed logs may hide important signals
→ Shorter responses can reduce context quality
→ Aggressive context management can remove useful history
The best Claude Code users don't just optimize prompts.
They optimize information flow.
