Reading coach Rachel Monroe on Lily Rodgers: "She did tremendous. She turned it on when she needed to and was composed when she needed to be. She played phenomenal." Girls’ lax final: Reading 8, Hingham 7 Lily Rodgers with 5 goals and Addy Mathews timely saves for the Rockets. Vivien Nicholas 3 goals and Aria Giardino a strong game for the Harborwomen. No. 2 Rockets advance to the D2 final, where they’ll face No. 1 Walpole in a rematch of last year’s championship game @GlobeSchools @GirlsLaxReading @RocketsRMHS @HarbormenNews @harborwomenlax

Reading junior Lily Rodgers on Addy Mathews: "Unreal. Having her in net is such a comfort to all of us. She keeps us calm with her talking. She’s such an anchor for us, knowing that if we get beat, she’s going to be right there." On her sister Maddie's clinching draw control: "It was so motivating. Seeing her do it, and doing it with me, is literally a dream. We used to play in the backyard. Accomplishing all of this with her, especially her freshman year, being undefeated and showing her what this program is for." @GlobeSchools @GirlsLaxReading @RocketsRMHS
