MAGA Republicans, like them or not, are not fascists either, in the way that supporters of Hitler and Mussolini were. There is plenty to criticize about Trump and the MAGA movement, but they have not perpetrated an American equivalent of Kristallnacht or anything close.
The real problem here is the ability of American liberals to feel morally superior no matter what their actual behavior. We are carrying out a genocide in Gaza in full view of the world--and Biden, not Trump, is to blame. The fact that Biden is charming and Trump is not should not blind liberals to this fact, but it does.
