Hopefully the Amish can keep their traditions, their comunity, their land. Rooting for them.
Now the truth finally comes out that the state of New York wants the Amish people‘s properties and land so they can build their data centers. How disgusting 🤮
The Amish of Central New York told the seditious Governor Kathy Hochul they would pack up, abandon their farms and leave if the Governor tried forcing vaccines on their children. The Governor fined them over $100,000 and demanded they comply anyway.
When the Amish decided to fight back, taking the wicked Governor to court, Hochul's minion Senator Fahy drew up even more legislation to pressure them to leave, attacking their children again, this time through an anti-homeschooling bill.
Tens of thousands of acres of cleared Amish farmland are at stake. The Amish have spent decades clearing their land by hand and horse. The hard work has been done.
But if the Governor has her way, the Amish will be forced to sell that cleared land to the solar farms and data centers knocking on the doors for it.
Who will help the Amish stand up to this maniacal Governor? We need to expose this on social media and we need to get the right people involved to represent the Amish and help them fight This evil demonic power and control of New York.
Horrific stories.

Sammy wasn’t even a citizen at the time, but had more pride than all of the current NYC administration combined.
This is both tragic and funny. Tragic for those living in these cities, especially for small property owners/investors. Funny for all of those who are lucky enough to live outside these cities (and have some basic understanding of supply/demand economics).
"Why would you enter a market where the government is actively trying to hurt you?"
Economist @salimfurth of @mercatus predicted builders would flee St Paul's rent control law.
Four years later, the city admits he was right:
UPDATE: Rent Control Fails Again, Politicians Learn Nothing
A few years ago, St Paul, Minnesota passed the strictest rent control in the country. Politicians promised it would "end profiteering." Activists cheered. Here's what really happened.

Iceland would be better off not getting involved in the EU morass. Voters are hopefully wise enough to keep their country's sovereignty and reject EU membership.
Icelanders will head to the polls this Saturday to vote on whether to restart EU membership talks -- or if accession is more trouble than it’s worth bloomberg.com/news/newslette…

This would be very interesting to watch. But, what's the chance of it actually happening?...
Dr. Schwartz, now that you are the CDC Director, please make good on your promise to Congress that you “would love to have an open and transparent debate” with me to “understand why parents have vaccine hesitancy." I continue to await word from your office with proposed dates. Show the American people you welcome public discourse on this topic. I intend to bring evidence to support everything I say. With the full weight of the CDC, you should have no issue doing same.
People tend to ignore whatever it's profitable for them not to know.

I ranked 40 foods. 50k people saw it. The number one question: why this order?
Here is the framework. Every food was scored on five criteria.
1.NUTRIENT DENSITY. How many essential nutrients per 100 calories. Beef liver delivers 27. Eggs deliver 12. Breakfast cereal delivers 2. The most nutrient dense foods on earth are animal foods. That is not an opinion. That is the USDA’s own data.
2.GLYCEMIC LOAD. How hard does this food hit your insulin. The foods at the top of the list barely move the needle. Meat, fish, eggs, and fat have a glycemic load near zero. The foods the USDA tells you to eat as your foundation, bread, rice, cereal, have the highest glycemic load of any foods in existence. 93.4% of Americans are metabolically unhealthy. This is why.
3.BIOAVAILABILITY. It is not what you eat. It is what you absorb. The iron in beef liver is heme iron. Your body absorbs 25 to 35% of it. The iron in spinach is non-heme. You absorb 2 to 5%. On paper they both contain iron. In your body, one works and the other mostly doesn’t.
4.ANTINUTRIENT RISK. Some foods fight back. Oxalates in raw spinach bind to calcium and form kidney stones. Lectins in raw beans damage gut lining. Goitrogens in raw cruciferous vegetables suppress thyroid function. Every plant on my list is either naturally low in antinutrients or marked as cooked to reduce them. Dose and preparation matter.
5.ANCESTRAL EVIDENCE. Did humans eat this food for thousands of years or was it invented in a factory 50 years ago. Beef liver, sardines, eggs, bone broth, fermented foods. These are not trends. They are the original human diet. If your great-grandmother would not recognize it as food, it probably isn’t.
Tier 1 Powerhouse scores highest on all five. Beef liver is number one because nothing on earth beats 27 essential nutrients per 100 calories with near zero glycemic load and maximum bioavailability.
Tier 5 Smart Staples scores well on some criteria but not all. Dark chocolate has polyphenols but also sugar. Coconut oil has MCTs but limited micronutrients. They earn a spot. They don’t earn the top.
The tiers are not about what tastes best or what is trendy. They are a metabolic ranking. Which foods give your body the most while demanding the least from your insulin, your liver, and your gut.

Bill Gates: “Cows make 6% of global emissions… You can either fix the cows, or make beef without the cow.”
Translation: He doesn’t want you eating real beef from real farms. He wants to replace God’s creation with his patented lab slop and supply-chain control.
First it was “eat the bugs,” now it’s “eat the fake meat.” This man owns more farmland than anyone in America while pushing to destroy traditional farming and ranching.
This isn’t about the climate.
It’s about control.
Control the food = control the people.
Bill Gates needs to stay the hell away from our farms, our cattle, and our dinner plates.
Who else is sick of this guy playing God with our food supply?
Thomas Chalmers famously wrote,
"One only has to review the graveyard of discarded therapies to discover how many people have benefited from being randomly assigned to a control group."
@drjohnm makes the point well today in @Sensible__Med 1000th post.
