#BREAKING | Libyan Army Deputy Commander-in-Chief Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar:
🟡 I welcome the House of Representatives’ unanimous approval of the Libya-Turkey maritime agreement and the repeal of Resolutions No. 1 and 6 of 2020.
🟡 These decisions mark a step towards overcoming past political differences and placing Libya’s national interests above all other considerations.
🟡 The maritime agreement could help protect Libya’s rights and economic interests in the Mediterranean while expanding cooperation and investment opportunities with Turkey.
🟡 Our national priority remains ending Libya’s divisions, unifying state institutions and restoring state authority across the country.
🟡 Strengthening relations with Turkey is part of a broader approach to cooperation with all regional and Mediterranean countries, based on mutual respect and shared interests.
🟡 Libya’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independent national decision-making will always remain our highest priorities.

Alleged killer of Hind Rajab traveling freely in the United States
——
The Hind Rajab Foundation has filed an urgent request with the US Department of Justice demanding the immediate arrest and criminal prosecution of an Israeli military officer currently traveling freely in the United States, according to a public filing by the organization.
The petition targets Sean Glass, a former company commander in the Israeli army whose occupation unit is directly implicated in the cold-blooded killing of six-year-old Hind Rajab, her family members, and the first responders dispatched to save her in Gaza City.
Extensive investigative findings place Glass and his "Vampire Empire" company—operating under the 52nd Armored Battalion—in the immediate vicinity of the family's vehicle during the massacre, which saw Israeli occupation forces shell and riddle the civilian car with hundreds of bullets.
The legal advocacy group warned that allowing an officer accused of egregious war crimes and acts of genocide to walk unbothered on US soil represents an intolerable collapse of international law and universal jurisdiction.
