The schooner returns to her base today after sailing for 18 months along the European coast for the #EMBLTREC expedition.
TREC scientists, and representatives from EMBL and the Tara Ocean Foundation, gathered in Lorient to celebrate the end of the expedition.

We've just published a comparative genomic analysis of Ascetosporean parasites (Rhizaria). We produced genomic data for two additional classes (Haplosporidia and Paramyxida), and the undescribed Cercozoa M6MM, and combined that to the available mikrocitids
