When a company gets fined $10M for a practice that made them $100M, the government isn't regulating crime, they’re taking a 10% cut as a business partner.

The FA have recently banned me from all of football for the rest of my life. I was a referee. A player for 33 years. I got struck off as a doctor for writing five letters supporting patients right to bodily autonomy to refuse the Covid jab. I had rows with high profile doctors claiming jabs were safe and effective in children and pregnant women. This was called harassment. No one exhibited the letters as evidence. No one knew which country, date or content of letters. No harm resulted. I was ‘proven to have breached rules and international policy’ that no one can cite. No patient or clinical issues of harm or negligence the panel stating what an exemplary doctor I was. Then struck me off. This has since led to my inclusion on the vulnerable adults and children barred list naming me for life from working or volunteering in these groups. An egregious punitive sanction. I have not harmed anyone, no child safeguarding incident or concern. No crime. No conviction. No mention of the word child. Because breaking the uncitable rule was so bad as I allowed my ideas and opinion to over rule a ‘policy’ IF it were a child safeguarding policy I MAY ignore and it COULD bring a child to harm. This has since led to an initial 6 month total football suspension even citing I couldn’t play or take neighbours kids to training which as you will know isn’t a regulated activity requiring DBS. I’ve never had a point on my licence, a detention at school, a yellow card, complaint as a player or referee. Not one aspect is football or child related. They cite my DBS listing as meaning it’s proportionate to ban me for life from all football related activities. I can not find another referee who has had such a draconian sanction. Total football bans are for match fixing scandals, serious crime and child sex offences. Why have I been banned? Unprecedented Orwellian dystopia. Just raising awareness. This was ignored. ukmedfreedom.org/open-letter…

"I know exactly how "nine giant institutions form a group to 'help' Bitcoin" sounds, I had the same reaction. So before accepting, I spoke one-on-one with each company about their values and priorities, to judge whether this would actually be a productive initiative for Bitcoin." - Mike Schmidt As Mike says, it was worrying to hear that nine giant institutions have formed a group to help Bitcoin. My worries were fortunately fully extinguished when I heard Mike had a one-on-one talk with Blackrock to verify that their values and priorities are good for Bitcoin. 😂🤣
Today nine institutions including BlackRock, Fidelity, Coinbase, and Strategy announced the Bitcoin Security Consortium (@BTCconsortium), pledging $15M toward Bitcoin security work over the next three years. I've agreed to help coordinate the group's work as a volunteer. I said yes because supporting Bitcoin's developers and helping people understand their work are the two things I've spent my time in Bitcoin on, through Brink and Optech. This group wants to do both: fund the people already securing Bitcoin, and bring accurate information about that work to audiences it doesn't currently reach. The group's first focus is quantum computing, a potential long-term threat that's reasonable to prepare for. Its true that a sufficiently powerful quantum computer would break Bitcoin's current signatures. What's usually wrong are the loudest "imminent doom" voices. The development community is already working on this. These institutions want to help. I know exactly how "nine giant institutions form a group to 'help' Bitcoin" sounds, I had the same reaction. So before accepting, I spoke one-on-one with each company about their values and priorities, to judge whether this would actually be a productive initiative for Bitcoin. Two things mattered most to me, and I found the members already aligned on both: - No pooled funding. Each member company funds who they choose, independently. The Consortium doesn't hold funds or pick recipients. - No Consortium positions on protocol changes. Members speak for themselves. I'm a volunteer, receiving no compensation from the Consortium. I continue to run Brink, independent of any Consortium member. I've committed to a year in this role, maybe I'd do two, but ultimately I see it as a seat that should rotate to other participants over time. My commitment is to Bitcoin, and that doesn't change. My hope is that this effort results in more funding reaching more developers/researchers, on their own terms, and a measured counterweight to quantum panic, in both directions (no doomerism, but also no dismissal). Quantum is the first focus, but if this group works the way I think it can, there's room to support other security efforts down the road too. More about the Consortium: xitter.cf/Strategy/status/208026… I expect plenty of skepticism. Ask me anything.

Last month I sold everything I had and put around $600k in Hex on PulseChain. I have around $1.5m currently and I promised myself to not touch it for the next 12 months. I’m here for glory.

Bombing Iran lost the anti-neocons. Attacking Massie lost the libertarians. Expanding the Ukraine war lost those who trusted his promises. Covering for Epstein lost his base. Now the Lindsay Graham endorsement leaves almost no one left but staffers, insiders, business partners and Always Trumpers who will stay forever no matter how badly they are humiliated.

Use bitcoin as collateral to get a loan. Use the loan money to buy bitcoin and pay your bills. It's the strategy the rich have claimed to use for years. But it's not. The real strategy the wealthy have used is to spin tales about complex financial products, promising untold riches to the poor. Bitcoin changed this. Finally, everyone had access to sound money that they could control themselves. Yet, instead of embracing this, we listen to billionaires' stories: Leverage your future. Borrow. You never have enough bitcoin. This isn't for me. I find it exhausting. Bitcoin taught me you can have enough, to escape the endless fiat rat race. I do think there is a place for using bitcoin as collateral for loans. But promoting this strategy recklessly is irresponsible. Even if the risky gamble pays off, it will never be enough. There's always someone with more bitcoin, willing to make an even riskier bet. History teaches us the outcome is always the same: you end up losing it all. I don't want to tell my future kids that I gambled their future away, fooled into believing a billionaire shared his private secret to wealth. Anyway, to each their own. I sincerely hope bitcoin rises so you can all tell me I was too cautious in a few years. Godspeed to you all.

Bitcoin is a better investment than Swiss hotels or restaurants or car factories because bitcoin is offering a far more valuable product to the world: a replacement for central banks. Since central banks are the absolute worst, most criminal and most destructive thing on earth, there is an enormous market reward for anyone that can put offer people an alternative. When you buy bitcoin, you are growing the bitcoin pool of liquidity and offering people a money better than central bank slavery. You're making bitcoin better and the market rewards you for your investment. The world needs a central bank replacement a lot more than Switzerland needs another hotel. But this is a transitory phase that cannot last forever. Bitcoin can't keep replacing central banks forever. Eventually it replaces them all and when they and all their shitcoins are dead, bitcoin won't be making enormous returns anymore. It only makes enormous return by eating other crappy moneys , but when all the crappy moneys die, bitcoin only grows in value as the production of other goods increases. It will only appreciate at 1-5% per year in terms of most goods and services. At that point, Swiss hotels become attractive again. Deflation is NOT a bad thing, and this is the biggest and most criminal psyop ever perpetuated on humanity, because everything evil is downstream from government inflation, and this is the justification for inflation. Deflation is just another word for economic growth. It is completely normal and good that things become cheaper over time. That's why we work. Work produces things and when things become more abundant they become cheaper. The market chooses the money that is the hardest to make precisely because the limit on supply growth makes it depreicate the least. The natural order is that everything gets cheaper. This does NOT mean that nobody would be consuming or investing. People do not consume just because they expect their money to depreciate. They consume to survive and to enjoy life. It doesn't matter how much cheaper you expect food, clothing, phones,or shelter will be next year. You want these things today and will pay for them today to use them today. Everyone knows their laptop and phone will be significantly cheaper next year and yet they all buy it. It's true that appreciating money will make you less likely to spend money on frivolous bullshit you don't need, and that's a good thing. Debt-fueled mass consumption is a moral disaster for humanity and Bitcoin can't kill it soon enough. The world doesn't need you to waste money on stupid bullshit. And people don't just invest because they expect money to depreciate. They invest because productive activity produces a surplus over holding money. And the key thing to remember is that money would not appreciate if people weren't investing and producing. So it's impossible to imagine a scenario where nobody invests but money appreciates. In sum, deflation is great, and it is the absolute best thing about bitcoin. Bitcoin being deflationary makes it the best investment opportunity in the world for as long as central banks exist. You are being perfectly rational to not want to invest in things that aren't as productive, morally imperative, and important as ending central banks. There'll be plenty of time and money for Swiss hotels when central banks are dead.

I started this account anonymously in large part because I was inspired by Satoshi Nakomoto Every Bitcoin predecessor failed because it had a public founder that was attacked...but by creating BTC anonymously, satoshi freed it to survive based on its own merits The abstraction of identity allows me to focus on the truth and not worry about reputation or social status. By stripping identity from the equation, every idea is dissected as a standalone cadaver instead of one supported by the individual behind the account... Every single idea has to STAND on its own two legs, the polar opposite to mainstream experts who instead of relying on the quality of ideas, defer to the quality of someone's pedigree... This is the anti "Trust the Experts"... This is don't trust, verify everything for yourself, ultimately leading to a pure meritocracy of ideas. My account lives and breathes by the quality of ideas I post, not the quality of who I am behind it...and that is why I am free to completely speak the truth to power and change my mind as I see fit. No ego = max truth. As Thomas Sowell said “There are only two ways of telling the complete truth — anonymously and posthumously.” The more we drift from the truth, the more we need anonymous individuals who are unafraid to speak it. The rise of anonymity is the fall of old world institutions.

It hit me how absurdly dystopian life in the UK has devolved to when my significant other had to have “the talk” with me. I was fixing something up in the kitchen when he made me stop what I was doing to make sure sure I’d fully absorb his solemn warning. “Listen to me. If and when the doorbell rings and it’s the police, do not answer it without pressing the record button. The chances are high that they will come by to investigate a tweet or post or even meme. Make sure you have your phone with you to record everything.” I went back to what I was doing. But later that evening, I realized how ludicrous things must’ve have gotten to make his exhortation a necessity. This just underscores how far England - the nation that, in 1215, put out the world’s first statement of the principles of liberty, the Magna Carta - has fallen. It was the historical and philosophical foundation that paved the way of assuring free speech, freedom of expression and a free press. The American Constitution and its First Amendment can trace its intellectual inheritance to the Magna Carta. Not even the experience of spending the first 17 years of my life growing up in Singapore - famously known for draconian speech laws - prepared me for this. The only “talk” I was subjected to was the typical one about the birds and the bees. It is unsettling that UK police resources are being spent on policing speech (a victimless crime) rather than actual crimes such as assault, stabbings and rapes; that prisoners serving time for serious crimes are released to make room for those guilty of mere thoughtcrimes. It’s utterly jarring that the country that brought you the subversive comedy of Monty Python could succumb to Karenism and destroy its culture of dissent and irreverence. It’s really disquieting that a nation that historically spilled so much blood to fight tyranny is welcoming tyranny at home. We have now sunk to a depth at which we are wasting time and bandwidth debating the legality of tweets, worried about when (not just “if” anymore) the police will come knocking. We now have children logged by the police for “non-crime hate incidents” - in other words, for just being children trying to figure out their place in the world. It’s time to turn things around. It’s already getting very dark here.
