Well today marks the end of chemotherapy. 14 rounds of IV infusion, probably close to 90 blood tests. 1 minor hiccup and delayed treatment. 9 months of oral meds to go.
I can almost see my life getting back to semblance of normal soon. Thank you @BCCancer for the care.
Chemo day 1 today. Part 1 of 2, back in tomorrow for 6 hours. This treatment will be my life for 2023/24. Thank you Canada for universal healthcare. Thank you for not making me choose between health and homelessness.
Chemo for me starts this week. 12 months of regular infusions, medications, blood work and recovery.
If at the end of this I don’t have super powers, I’m going to be annoyed. #fuckcancer #fuckleukaemia
