Here's an important life and church update I want to share from my heart to yours. drive.google.com/file/d/1kJv…

If you’d like to join us for our final Christmas service, here’s the link. #BeholdHim Merry Christmas, everybody! live.eastside.com/

I’m excited to be speaking at the Amplify Conference in 2 weeks at the Wheaton College Billy Graham Center! Amplify gathers leaders passionate about sharing the gospel in everyday spaces. 📷 Learn more and register at amplifyconference.org

I probably should be sued for pastoral malpractice, but I have found this counterintuitive truth to be true for most churches.

Fired up for important conversations happening at Amplify 2025!

I want to invite you to join me on Instagram live tonight at 6:30 PM pst for a brief prayer gathering for all those impacted by the California fires. BBC

🙏🙏 Praying for our southern California neighbors and friends impacted by the horrific fires. And praying for our courageous firefighters and first responders.

Merry Christmas to all our friends, loved ones and Eastside family! We are so grateful for you! —Gene and Barbara.

I'm so happy for #UNLVFB Rebels. First 3-0 start since Randall Cunningham in 1984. 3-0. 2 wins over Big-12 teams. And 2 proud grads at our house.

I’m praying fervently and I hope you will too for all our nation’s leaders, their families, and for the healing of former President Trump and our nation. I grieve with those who lost someone they love today. Violence is never God’s way. Be a #PeaceMaker and a #PrayerWarrior.

My friend @rustylgeorge has done it again with another must-read! Find it on Amazon.

Our daughter @atowne625 ..Alayna Towne share a courageous and vulnerable message on #SustainingFaith for Mothers Day. To watch the entire message go to eastside.com/online-sermons/…

I still have no words for what we witnessed this wkend. These are the greatest days of spiritual hunger for Jesus I’ve ever experienced in over 40 years of ministry. Celebrating with each of the 417 people who said yes to Jesus and baptism this Easter at Eastside 🙌🙌 #MadeNew

Barbara and I had the privilege to see an advanced screening of Ordinary Angels and we laughed and cried and were moved. So well done! So inspired!

Thankful after a marathon event like #SuperBowlLVIII that I live in the pacific time zone. Who's with me?

Such a meaningful day w/ my friend @vancepitman & the key pastors/spiritual influencers of @sendnetwork, planting thousands of churches everywhere for everyone. I love this grp & it was an honor to serve & encourage them. They in turn blessed me. Thx @DrLoritts for the prayer.

I sense as we enter 2024 that exhausted and frustrated people are hungry for God, hungry for meaning, hungry for worship. On New Years Eve we had one of our very largest church attendances of all 2023. 🙌 Jesus is still changing lives and I’m here for it in 2024. #HappyNewYear

Merry Christmas from the Appel family to you and your loved ones!🎄🎄
