The FIFA 2026 World Cup kicks off, and the logistical challenge of transporting 48 teams and all their equipment across the North American continent will be immense. generationlogistics.org/news…
Over the course of the tournament, a fleet of 5,000 vehicles will transport over 1 million pounds of equipment for the 104 matches to venues across Canada, the US, and Mexico. Managing the tournament's equipment and infrastructure will require enough warehouse space to accommodate 14 football pitches. This information comes from a report by Generation Logistics.
