For weeks, the media have claimed that the protests against federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in Minneapolis and other cities are peaceful and that protesters are not interfering with law enforcement operations.
Hailey West, an independent journalist covering the protests, found something different.
“Interference is constant,” she told Public. “It’s like a badge of honor out there.” She described the “physical pushing of officers” by protesters who are “trying to break through a [police] line. They’ll send people who are mentally ill or disabled in a wheelchair to the front of the line.”
West expressed horror at the killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti. “We don’t want to see what happened to Renee or Alex to continue,” she said. “We should want to protect our citizens.”
West described a situation of rising violence. In one instance, protesters threw tear gas at ICE agents, but hit the van that she and other reporters were sitting in instead.
“You have this massive group of protestors following all the vehicles,” she said. “They were throwing tear gas canisters, and one of them ended up being thrown on top of our vehicle, bounced off, went underneath the vehicle, and started filling the car up with tear gas.”
When asked if it was her only time being tear-gassed, West said, “No, I’ve been tear-gassed multiple times. Usually, I’ll have a gas mask, but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to take one on the plane. You get used to it after a certain point.”
West said that the protesters are “instructed to cause as much chaos so they can”...

While you are being gas lit by the Political Industrial Complex, all over social media and the news telling you what you are supposed to be outraged about, think about this.
Republicans funded the Refugee Program by nearly $6 billion of your tax payer dollars in the DHS appropriations bill even though you have been losing your mind about paying for refugee funding while you discovered all the Somalia fraud.
And the DHS appropriations bill funds all of Homeland Security including ICE.
Now you have watched a shooting video probably over 30 times trying to figure out what happened, while a near civil war is being fueled in MN.
But look past the hype and focus in on the granular details.
The DHS bill funds both ICE and Refugee Programs.
The DHS bill funds doubling H2B visas and deportations at the same time.
Do you see how the Uniparty in Washington funds both sides and then gas lights you and drives you to hate each other?
It is all manufactured to drive your outrage and that is how they make money.
When the American People stop being baited into fighting each other, the American People will defeat the Political Industrial Complex that divides us all and can work to truly put Americans First.

You can’t get a $1 million mortgage if you make $100K/year.
You can’t get a $75K car loan if you make $35K/year.
The fact that you can get $250K in student loans for a college degree where you’re expected to earn $40K/year is unacceptable and a complete failure of US society.
We have 18 year old kids making financial decisions that all but guarantee a lifetime of economic insecurity.
These kids do not have the capacity to understand the implications of the debt they are taking on.
The corrupt university system has successfully convinced them going to college is the “smart thing to do” and that it will all work out.
These colleges should have to take the financial hit when they load up 18 years olds with hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt that basic math would tell you will never be repaid.
The federal government backstopping all these student loans does nothing but enable colleges to jack up their prices every year with zero accountability.

The US fought the "war on terror" for more than 20 years -- it's ongoing. It not only cost trillions of dollars and more than a million lives, but radically and permanently eroded core civil liberties for Americans.
Now, someone the DOJ called an Al Qaeda terrorist less than a year ago is welcomed to the WH.

Why does Trump show zero concern for all the amazing Scientific talent that we have?
Just let these colleges and universities that cannot survive without Chinese life support fail. Simple as that.
Let’s stop offering complimentary spa days to the CCP and peeling their grapes, and show 1/1000th the concern we show to China to our own scientists. Why are we destroying ourselves to help the Chinese communist Party?? Anyone?
