Rockstar never brought GTA IV to PS5, so a fan just did it.
A port called GTA IV for PS5 by elripalda now runs GTA IV, The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony natively on jailbroken PS5s.
It's built on OZORDI's Liberty Recompiled project. 4K with a 60fps cap, 120Hz and VRR, adaptive triggers, trophies, and the DualSense light bar flashes police lights when you're wanted.
You need a jailbroken console and your own US GTA 4 Xbox 360 copy. The PS5 side was also coded with help from Claude AI.

A Canadian political leader is calling for the government to help BioWare developers buy the studio from EA and run it themselves.
NDP leader Avi Lewis says the developers should get the first shot at taking control, with government support.
“The developers at BioWare know how to run the studio. They know how to make the games we all love.”
He also criticized corporate ownership, arguing that Canada should keep control of major game studios in Canadian hands.
